Good player. Think he'd be much better in a team that actually has a system like ours and everyone knows what the fuck they're doing unlike at Spuds.

Think he'd be an upgrade on Ramires (slightly) but I'd rather we aim a bit higher if we want a new CM.

Who's next? Aaron Lennon? Valencia? Kolo Toure? Nacho Monreal? Giroud?

Come on fellas, April Fools' Day is long gone... Paulinho? really? From Vidal, Modric, Kroos, Rakitic, Kovacic, and all the names around, to this guy? This has to be a joke.

Matic is a hell of a player, an absolute gem. Do we really have to ruin that by partnering him with an average player?!

If this is true, I hope Jose sees him as Mikel's replacement. Bench/squad player, nothing more.

What's our obsession with Brazilians honestly. I could understand if it was their golden era in terms of producing genuine quality footballers which is long gone.

Paulinho has been absolutely terrible since joining spurs.

In his defence, it's tough for a player coming from a foreign, inferior league into a whole new environment, dealing with the Christmas period whilst playing under one poor manager and then having to play under another. Think it's unfair to judge him solely on this season, although he's hardly the most exciting possible signing unless it's a cut-price deal. Reminds me of us being linked to Guarin.

1. Lamela

2. Capoue

3. Sandro

4. Ericksen for a good chunk of AVB era

5. Lloris

6. vertoghen

The list goes on, the Spurs have all sucked this year.

He's a step down from Ramires.

No chance. He's a starter for Brazil over Ramires for a reason. He's pretty good going forward for a CM, and also good in the air.

I think if he signs, it will show Mou has been disappointed in Ramires, and sees Paulinho as a better option to him.

I think he's a great player in his position with a lot of potential to be world class! But my evaluation is based on him at the Confederations cup, no in this awful Spurs team. It is unfair to judge him on his Spurs season.
