In his defence, it's tough for a player coming from a foreign, inferior league into a whole new environment, dealing with the Christmas period whilst playing under one poor manager and then having to play under another. Think it's unfair to judge him solely on this season, although he's hardly the most exciting possible signing unless it's a cut-price deal. Reminds me of us being linked to Guarin.

He's a step down from Ramires.

No chance. He's a starter for Brazil over Ramires for a reason. He's pretty good going forward for a CM, and also good in the air.

OMG. This guy is a very overrated player. Not just from his time with Spurs but from his time with Corinthians in Brazil. This will be a huge mistake by our board to sign him.
