What a performance. I have to admit, at HT I doubted our chances because United had more players capable of changing the game on their bench than we did. Turns out, we didn't need any and their's were shit. Benitez - Ferguson now 2-0 this season, the clash at Old Trafford in May is definitely going to be interesting even if United have sealed the title by then.

Hard to choose a man of the match today, most of the lads did great. Cech and Ramires deserve a shout, but I have to give credit to Demba Ba, mainly because that has got to be the first time this season our striker's performance reminded me of the good old Didier Drogba.

Speaking of Drogba, how will we cope in the semis without the King of Wembley? Mata has been great in the FA Cup ever since joining the club so maybe he can take over as the most consistent performer in the cup and Ba can come up with another Drogbaesque performance against City. ;)

Against West Ham, he had poor finish but overall his game was good.

At least with him, we can keep the flow of the game as he won't break the play like Torres often do.

Well time for Bertie to step up ;)

Good game overall kept them quiet, but for some better finishing we could have won comfortably.

Well played BA and Cech and credit to Hazard and Ramires...

On to City, who we CAN beat on our day ;)

Now roll on Thursday :)

Wasn't a great performance but thought we played well and created some good chances, which we should have scored. At the moment, we are seriously lacking that ruthlessness in killing teams off. Too much overplaying at times. Other than that, felt we also defended well all game. Restricted United to half chances at best.

Not the best performance but seeing as a few weeks ago we were 2-0 down..go get to the semi good times :D and no weird goal or random ref or Fergie moment is nice

And what a save from Cech!!

Still have a shot at doing a kinda odd double but still...in 2 at least for now

NOW THATS A GOOD PERFORMANCE. but sorry to do this but this should have been the team that should have started on saturday and have us 3rd in the league. anyways awesome performance. except for oscar (who seemed to be the lord's lost lamb today), top notch performance from every1.

cech - WHAT A BRILLIANT SAVE. UNBELIEVABLE.

azpi - negated the threat of cleverly superbly and later on young.

iva - BEAST. this is the good old ivanovic that we remember. brilliant performance. still remember that moment when welbeck almost got behind our defense out of absolutely nothing and iva checked him perfectly with his body. MOTM for me.

luiz - good game. dint do anything spectacular for once. though a couple of his change of plays to find azpi were downright delicious.

bert - nice answer to all his critics. he is a left back and a good one defensively but needs to work when he gets the ball in the opposition half.

mikel - what a performance. TAKE THAT HATERS.

rambo - workhorse. awesome pressing and complemented brilliantly by mikel with his tackles. infact there is no point of writing how they were separately because in a pivot the 2 mids need to work together and these 2 were flawless.

oscar - i dont know what in the name of hell was he doing today.

hazard - in a real good moment. always looked like a threat.

mata - good match but cant understand how he dint get on the scoresheet. some really horrendous decision making in the final 3rd. but what a sublime pass for the 1st goal.

BA - just brilliant. held up the play superbly. kept the cbs busy for mata and hazard to work their way around. and what a great goal to score.
