Same here. But in this sense it was classic Torres, he has often been described as a striker who can disappear in the match and then pop up in the dying minutes and score. Just happy he got the goal .. now kick on Nando if he can play this poor and keep scoring and we get the wins I have no issues with him... Fair play to you sir! It even looks like he's improved his speed and pace recently, he is running, he is trying. And should finally take confidence in the fact that he is scoring. But he's just so shocking at times.And I wasn't the only one noticing in a match thread that sometimes AMs look like they are avoiding passing the ball to him. That's just a bit worrying. Usually it would be a important goal to kill off the game he should at least run to the crowd to the celebrate but now he just seems emotionless, scoring or not he couldn't careless anymore. Something like you tell someone 10000 times that he is sh*t and he'll finally start believing that he is sh*t.Not that it is completely unwarranted, sadly. Eventually Mou will have to give up too imo, just isn't good enough I am afraid. He could have a blinder against City then not touching the ball more than 5 times against West Ham next week, that is the sort of situation he is in really. I think the best way is for him to leave and come to a place where there is no pressure and he could actually enjoy football again. Of course he went missing when game after game our midfield fails to control the ball and supply it to our striker, whomever it may be. Fernando gets in great positions all the time, always looking to make a run off the shoulder but our midfield fails to link up with him.
