That Fulham need to be much better.

It's not about how many but rather Mikel's role in retaining and keeping possession and his sheer physical presence in midfield. In Mikel, the team has an outlet; they can pass the ball to Mikel in almost any situation and he will use his strength and composure to keep possession.

Mikel is a good player, a very good player but to say he is the most imporatant is insane. It seems there is no middle ground when it comes to Mikel, he is either the worst or best player on the team.
