(The Sun)I know its the sun but still...........If we didn't sign Ba..then having Lukaku and Bony as strikers would of been awesome.
Heisenberg 1,824
Never saw him in the Eredivisie, I saw him in the African Cup of Nations 2013, nothing special, he is quick, good shot, nothing more.If someone could here please tell me if he has a good technique, if he could dribble defenders and score or rely more on his speed, a Daniel Sturridge type of player or more physical ? Can he play the 'pivot' role or play just behind the striker in a 4-4-1-1.
Leif 6,006
Hasn't almost every (already an exaggeration) prolific/top scorer in the Eredivisie failed once moving to a bigger league?

BlueLyon 9,359
Should we decide to sell Ba, Etoo, Torres and Lukaku; Bony (or Immobile) would be great 2nd option.
Oscar 441
Costa, Bony and Eto would be great! However, I doubt both Bony and Costa come at the same time.
De_ChrapQaa 192
I see no reason buying 2nd option when we have lukaku who is better and younger, don't start with the "he don't want to be 2nd choice" thats just BS, he wants to play and prove himself here... LAM09 7,067
Bony is a good player, but I think Lukaku should have his chance. One season to prove he is as good as he thinks he is.

Bony can hold up the ball, create goals for himself and has some powerful header. Lukaku is no different from Torres. Needs a 100m of empty turf to run into. didierforever 7,349
So we don't want to keep lukaku (20years old) but bony is fine.13 goals each in the league while lukaku has 4 appearances less.Lukaku definitely has a higher ceiling and potential. Has time on his side. And even now is better or atleast as good as bony. But still we should sell lukaku and buy bony.Simply

He has no hold up play, cant win any aerial duels, terrible terrible first touch and isnt the most intelligent of players. Lets see how many of these points he can improve upon.
