RoyalBlues 4,050
Quote Eden Hazard wants clarity about Antonio Conte future at Chelsea Eden Hazard is anxious to know which manager he will be playing for and which players will arrive at Chelsea next season. While Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal have already been active in the transfer market this summer, uncertainty persists at Stamford Bridge, particularly with regards to the future of boss Antonio Conte, who has a year left on his contract. Hazard, who has two years left on his Chelsea deal, is on national team duty with Belgium getting ready for the World Cup, where they have been drawn to play in Group G alongside England, Panama and Tunisia. Despite helping the Blues win the FA Cup, Hazard admitted he was disappointed with last season's campaign and is keen for clarity about what the future holds for Chelsea next term. "At the moment I only focus on the World Cup," said Hazard at Belgium's pre-World Cup training camp in Brussels. "We had a bad season with Chelsea. We won the FA Cup at the end - so it was a little bit better but I'm only focused on the World Cup. "Then I let the board manage Chelsea the best way that they can." Asked whether his Chelsea future was linked to who is in charge at Stamford Bridge and players that might arrive in the summer, Hazard said: "Yeah I want to know. I want to know, but like I say I am focused on the World Cup. "If we have something new - manager or players - it is always good to know it because I want players that can [help bring success back to] Chelsea next season. But to be fair the transfer market is not here [in full flow] yet. We will see after." http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11668/11400791/eden-hazard-wants-clarity-about-antonio-conte-future-at-chelsea  We're not alone 11Drogba, Blue Armour, DDA and 1 other
Popular Post! Special Juan 28,141 Posted June 11, 2018 Popular Post! Share Posted June 11, 2018 Saying exactly what we are all wanting, serious shots fired here IMO, the board now need to step up and deliver the quality of players both Hazard and the team requires. Dead simple, deliver the goods and he stays, labour and he's off. RoyalBlues, Johnnyeye, Fernando and 2 others

He's been here long enough to know how this club operates with management. Johnnyeye

Stats 7,142
More concerning though is that he limped off with a thigh injury. Hopefully it is nothing serious and it is just a little knock and he can be fit for the WC opener.

One of Costa Rica players tackled him and caught him with his studs just below the knee/above the shinn protectors. Hopefully it's nothing, he's in great form atm, best player on the pitch by a country mile tonight and in the last 3 games. EDIT : Compilation of his game tonight. The tackle is at 10:44  Stats

DDA 9,938
He looked as if he had accidently strolled onto a Sunday League pitch against Costa Rica. It was soo easy for Eden the rest looked embarrassed to be playing on the same field as him.
Atholy 1,293
He looked absolutely AMAZING in his last games for the Belgian NT! It reminded me of his time at Lille OSC. He's full of joy, unstoppable and dribbling like crazy. The way he turns away (left, right) from the opposition is magical! First I thought, ok lesser teams... But then I also had to think: Why TF is he stuck to the left line with US at Chelsea. He really needs to be playing in a more center position. He's simply brilliant when he has some space! And it's really stupid to take this space away from him and only give him half the pitch (from the left) => Hope Conte or the next Coach is smart enough to do so!! Johnnyeye, The Skipper and 11Drogba

He played almost all of the previous two seasons in as close to central as hes ever played, as a wide 10 and a second striker.... El P.

He needs to be given freedom behind the striker in a central position. And his position at Chelsea has almost always been leftwing FW.

No player not even Lampard has enjoyed this much positional freedom in Chelsea since I watch the team. You can argue that because he has donkeys like Alonso and Moses supporting him on either flank that he has to do a lot on his own but no one can argue that he has not been given enough positional and tactical accomodation. On paper he might be a wide 10 or 2nd striker (which basically is a no. 10) but he is allowed to play as much as a true no.10 as one can. OneMoSalah and El P.
!Hazard! 3,394
I've never seen him play so well for the Rode Duivels. Absolutely unstoppable in this form and in that setup. It's also quite clear to me that IF he plays like this and takes the Belgians at least to the semi-finals, he will not return to London in August

He has been given freedom under Conte (probably most freedom he’s had under any manager here), he played as a wide 10 in the first year but he was popping up all over the point and then after cries of him needing to play off a striker in a 352 he got that which came with mixed results. A few games with Belgium against dead rubber where they have a vastly superior first 11 and squad in comparison to their opponents and a draw with Portugal will not change this. I mean how much more freedom does he need to be given? There is no players that essentially give players a completely free role now a days. Even the likes of Messi and Ronaldo don’t get fully free roles. robsblubot and El P.

Superblue 6,372
Good to see that something as important as the World Cup still won't get in the way of the usual motormouths trying to talk their way out of the club.
