To me its just a normal bit of Eden PR trying to keep HIS fanbase happy. And to keep that Spain door open.

Eden is not a daft young kid. Hes a millionair businessman who knows exactly what hes doing/saying.

It would be really worrying if he doesn't sign an extension soon. It would be suicidal to allow his contract to run down. If he's dead set on going then it has to be this summer. We can't allow a player who is worth £150m run down his contract and either let him walk for nothing or only get relative peanuts for him.

Mate its been doing my nut in all season. The amount of times him Willian and Pedro have all lost the ball doing fucking silly backheels when we've been under pressure and struggling to get a foot on the ball in games this season is unbelievable. It works every now and then but its just infuriating today we struggled for possession as it was. Fair enough perhaps if they came off it would have led to some better solutions in the final third but it didn't.

Time for me to get rocks thrown at me from the Eden fanboys but it needs to be said.

All that Eden really offers us is his dribbling. We need him to run STRAIGHT INTO the box and cut inside AND SHOOT. We have seen him do it on very rare occasions so why not more often?
But it seems he has something against shooting. OK So Eden - do your little dribble past a couple and then pass to someone who has got behind the defenders. But to me he never seems to look up so how the fuck can he see anyone thats doing a run? All he does is do one of his sideways passes or a back heel which more than pften come to nothing, or pass it back for one of the CMs to shoot from outside the box. The only real creativity he offers us is a litle dribble then a short sideways pass when he runs out of ideas.
I know if I was a striker playing with him I'd bang my head against a wall wondering why the fuck I bother trying to get behind defenders.
Yes, he can dribble, on those rare occasions when he feels like it. He needs to get his head out of his arse while hes doing it and be aware of players in motion, or put some balls thru the middle. Or even dribble more into a position and actually kick the ball at that net thing.
Personally I sadly think its time for us to get a proper number 10. We desperately need more than a little dribble from him.

Mate I totally understand your love of him but just try looking at him without rose tinted blinkers on and think about his bad qualities and what he offers the team.

I think I was quite right when I made my post about him. A player who I like. A player Ive watched and has excited me at times and I have argued with peeps who have been much less patiant than I am.

But I'm looking at him with an unpassionate eye and Ive realized hes just a dribbler and offers us hardly anything else.

We really do need a proper number 10 mate

I think thats a little harsh. I am extremely curious to see what he can do in a free flowing attacking team. The fact he has stayed this long with Jose + Conte is pretty shocking. We saw the best of him last year when Conte let him loose, a positive ive noticed this year is his willingness to hit shots from a bit more distance and a dramatic improvement with his left foot as well.

I would not be upset if Madrid came in and offered us BIG bucks or a player and some cash for him, but if we appoint Sarri I am quite excited to see him in that system. The same things and far worse could have been said about Insigne before Sarri, now look at him.

Eden does need to be a bit more of a catalyst at times when we NEED a moment, but part of that comes down to the system and how the defence is set up to solely stop him and him alone.

Just a dribbler, Jesus Christ. He did have a poor season, but if anyone thinks Chelsea can get a player better than Hazard, they're absolutely deluded. He needs to be offloaded, so that he can be replaced with REAL QUALITY, like Shaqiri or Choupo-Moting, I am sure they will be affordable. Keep Willian the Mediocre, and a washed-up Pedro, and Chelsea might make it through the group stages of the EL.

I promise you I have no Blinder towards Hazard, i have a real issue with parts of his game and his value to us. I am more open to selling him than majority of Chelsea fans are. In a hypothetical world though, Sarri likes playing inbetween the lines with short detailed passing sequences. Eden is an unbelievable player in tight spaces who makes quick decisions, often too quick for our other players who arent as sure where to be. He absolutely needs to add a 'Selfish' aspect to his game for me. He needs to WANT to go score all these goals the way Salah/Kane/Messi/CR7/Neymar do. He has all the ability to take over games but seemingly the only reason he doesnt is because he doesnt 'feel' like it. 

Eden is a flawed player, same as everyone else in the world besides Messi...I just think IF he does decide to stay and IF we get Sarri he could really bring out the best in Hazard. Perhaps its just wishful thinking on my part though.

See what does my head in is HE DOES have that ability - which he has shown - to be direct, cut inside and to shoot. And I love him when he does that even if it doesn't come off. But more often instead he passes it back to someone on the edge or outside the box to shoot.  But hes scored some cracking goals and I'm at a loss as to why he goes missing so often. Its got to be some character / attitude problem.
