That's been the case since the 2014-15 season when he announced himself as the best player in the league and one of the world's best players. I've always felt in comparison to other top European football countries, Chelsea and English football excluding maybe United done a poor job of marketing their star players but that tide seems to be turning.

Maybe it is the white kit, but hopefully he burns that off season fat off and can turn on the jets in those tight spaces to score some awesome goals. He did look great today though. His touch and tight ball control are something else. Not just in comparison to players in our team or league, but almost any player in the world.

I was crying out for him to shoot after he dribble through the middle at one point. I'm not sure if it's his mentality or he's been coached that way, but he really needs to shoot more often instead of being unselfish.

Hopes he can become more selfish and just shoot when it opens up, Pedro is the exact opposite of him in that department.

Shut up.  Please just stop it. He could have had 2 assists in 10 mins after breaking his ankle. Get real and stop moaning like a child because Hazard is not a perfect player. Who is, every player has flaws. This isn't FIFA or some video game, it's real life. Hazard rarely shoots from long range because his long range shooting is not that good. It's common sense.

FFS, I wasn't whining about his performance but I was just pointing out it would serve him better to be more selfish.
Seriously, Pedro shoots when he's not supposed to while Hazard should be entitled to shoot more.

It's not just about 10 minute cameo, I've based it from watching him week in week out with us before he got injured. And why bring up the FIFA comparison? I don't even play FIFA.

If Hazard shot more he'd score more but at the same time become a lesser player. I have never been a fan of speculative shooting, even shots on the edge of the box are more likely to come to nothing than something.On the odd occasion fine, but taking to many low percentage shots is infuriating to watch and murders good attack's.

His long range shooting is good. He has scored some spectacular goals form long range with his left and right foot whilst with us. Also some of his shots form range have good power and often have just been saved. But he is just such an unselfish player and shoots when he feels the right time is. No doubt though that he could shoot more and I would encourage it myself just because I know he is capable of getting a lot more goals.

I agree, but there are some moments throughout his time with us where he's done all the hard work, could shoot at the moment but goes for a teammate instead.

When we signed him, he was pretty much the leading man at Lille and he did score some cracking screamers in his debut season with us. So he's definitely capable, no doubt about it.

Being unselfish is one of his better qualities as a player and a teammate but he should have a selfish streak sometimes. He's entitled to it after all.
Agreed that we don't want him to go for the speculative shoots often, but just when it opens up for him.

It's not good. The long range goals he's scores are either speculative (Stoke away with his left foot, Hull away) or when he was running from certain angles (Hull City away 2013/14, goal vs Burnley, vs Hungary at Euros)

Believe me I know what I'm talking about. That is by far the weakest part of his game followed by his corner kicks). Seriously he's played about 250 games for us already. This should be obvious.

You're taking shit because Pedro is actually better than Hazard at shooting. Much better. It's like wondering why Pedro can't dribble past 4 or 5 players at once like Hazard can. It's a moot point to make at this point to anyone with even an oata of common sense. Hazard can be unselfish sometimes (that is hardly saying anything revolutionary) but criticizing him for it in that instance he chooses not to shoot on sight is stupid. He had jus had a dribbling moment and the ball was probably still stuck under his foot. If he shot from there it will most likely have gone way over the bar.

Congratulations for turning the Hazard page into why didn't he shoot on one occassion (after he just recovered from a fucking leg break no less).

Problem is I'm not just referring to his long range shots, I mentioned he should shoot more when it opens up for him rather look for a teammate. 

It means that he's in a good position to shoot but doesn't, could be inside the box or just outside the box.
