I think the general consensus is that most people, including me, would agree with you toronto - hulk is overpriced at £38m.Yes he's unproven in a stronger league but many would argue that he has the attributes to give him a good chance of succeeding and at his age should be or near his prime.It is widely agreed that we need a RW and hulk is arguably the best RW seemingly available this summer. That is why hulk is my first choice. If the club decide they can afford over £30m then great, because he could be a great addition to the squad. However if the club feel priced out of a move then i'll support that we're not going to be bullied into overpaying or a bidding war and hope we find an alternative.Agreed. The Guardian reported Chelsea offered 30M for Hulk which is in the realm of reasonable. If Porto accept that, then great. If not, as you say, time to move on. Top teams need depth, I wanna win cups and the league not one at the expense of the other. chelsea offer 30mil and porto want 38 mil so just give 35 mil and be done, even though i agree the extra 5 mil will be for the name hulk. Please lets just remember that it is not our money so please dont catch hissy fits. Hulk is an absolutley perfect fit for chelsea, period. We know they're working behind the scenes, and hopefully don't take too long to "evaluate the squad" like AVB did and end up regretting it later.The first thing that should happen come this Sunday when the window opens is to sell Malouda. I am sure everyone is confident of the signing going through, it is just a case of the 2 clubs bartering on the price, neither wanting to let their poker face slip. Eventually this deal will happen.
