bababoom 4,478
In all honestly, i'm just happy we're in the semi's, i don't expect us to beat Barca, but i just hope they don't hammer us. That is all.
warnie_666 1,081
I wouldnt play Torres against Barca. I would play Drogba. I would play every player who suffered the worst injustice in modern football on that terrible night. If we fans feel such anger towards Barca after that night i can only imagine how the players would feel and i bet they would be itching to go on the feild and put the the record straight. The night before the game, I would make, Drogba, Terry, Lampard, Cole, Essien, Cech, Ivanovic, Kalou, Malouda, and the rest of the team sit and watch the 09 Semi Final at the Bridge. If that wouldnt motivate them then nothing on earth will.

That is all.Same here.I am very glad to got this far, something I did not thought was possible a couple of weeks ago. What ever happens against Barcelona happens, but this is a good end to the season giving the overall season we had.And at this point trying to secure 4th place is priority, cause we don't know if we can beat Barcelona.Anything is possible, but we must try to achieve first our most realistic target and that's to finish at least in 4th spot! Strike 7,489
Nice to see Kalou back to his hapless self .I think Barca have Real the weekend before the 2nd leg we have arses. so i guesss, it kinda evens itself
Ollie 4,400
Last time we played Barca at home, we had Arse 3 days later at the Emirates and whipped em 4-1. All this with a caretaker manager too. Oh and we won the FA Cup .... played Everton in the final. Strange. I know i've said this a few times but it is kinda weird if u think about it. YankinBlue42 72
Yep...we haven't even got to the make or break part of the season yet. It's upon us right now. The Napoli comeback was amazing, but didn't "make" our season. A trophy and 4th place is the only way that can happen. We've done incredibly well to make it to this point where so much good can still come out of this season. Here's to some good fortunes and continued results.
Cosmin 2,484
It could be like this:a. Spurs eliminate us from the FA Cup, Barca eliminate us from the UCL and we end up on the 5th place in the EPL -> worst case scenario.b. We eliminate Spurs, win the FA Cup, Barca eliminate us from the UCL and we end up on the 4th place in the EPL -> reasonable, considering how our whole season was so far.c. We eliminate Spurs, win the FA Cup, we eliminate Barca, play the UCL final and we end up on the 3rd place in the EPL -> absolutely amazing, heroic, stunning. didierforever 7,349
i dont know if its the media's way of raising chelsea but i love all the "revenge" talk going around the footballing world at the moment. we will need more than just a good performance to beat the 12 men of barcelona and this "revenge" might be the right impetus.
