For the RW/RF role to me it has to be Griezmann, but if its absolutely impossible to get him i want Fekir. For the CM position i think its tricky, because Matic and Kante are huge right now, and i would love to see RLC become a world class box to box player, so i would like to see more of him on that role, but of its impossible, i would go for Thiago Maia, who is REALLY good and very young. For the LWB, even though Alonso has been good, i think we need a bit more pace there, so i would like one of Gaya or Kurzawa Our starting eleven could look a little bit like this Courtois Zouma-David Luiz-Christensen Azpi Matic Kante Gayá Griezmann Costa Hazard Thats a CL winning team, we just need to make the right buys I love Griezmann his best position is a second striker not on the winger he would be wasted over there I would buy Mahrez for the right winger position
Tomo 21,754
Getting 2 maybe even 3 quality wingbacks this summer at the latest is crucial, the reason we have overwhelmed teams so much is because Alonso, Moses and Kante are doing the work of two men. In the Euros Antonio always made in game changes at wingback and with hopefully CL footy returning next term we are going to need viable alteratives to Alonso and Moses that right now we simply ain't got. We can't do nothing to cover Kante he is one of a kind but we need our scouts all over searching for more depth at wingback. Always thought he was a good midtable player. He seems to better than that based on reviews Not impressed by him today though. Probably had an off day but I don't like how he barely got out of 1st gear today. Mikel-ish. I don't like that.

Eidur the Spider 4,515
Seems like Jose is calling out Luke Shaw again for pulling out of their game today due to a niggling injury. I know he hasn't done much at United, and has been very unfortunate with injury but I'd take him at Chelsea. Conte could work his magic on him for sure and would be excellent cover for that LWB position. blues.bridge
blues.bridge 343
sold willian and ivanovic to Jose and ask him Shaw plus £50 give Oscar plus money to juventus for Dybala £ 50-60 for Verratti and we are ok for a decade than we will sold more others players like mikel, piazon, atsu .... If we still played a back four i would agree however he isn't good enough attacking wise to be a wing back. The only way he could potentially fit this formation would be left centre defense, but two full backs in the back three will probably somewhat affect the balance. Fernando 6,743
That would great if true. But I take those with a pinch of salt. Action is more important then words and we will know this is true if in January transfer window there's some good spending done.

akgw13 867
This season has worked out perfectly for Conte. We are playing Marvelous and in the hunt for our CL spot. The players look to be enjoying working under him. Roman is happy. Conte didn't get his first targets in the transfer market and STILL made a team playing some of the best football we have seen in awhile. Roman has to be thinking, imagine we give this guy what he wants what he could build! A motivated russian billionaire chasing glory is the best asset for Conte. Also if i were a player that Conte wants how could you say no to joining his revolution. Wish List: Auba/Griezz/Dybala One of those 3 and we are really in business. Radja/B2B midfielder of some sort just in case something were to happen with Matic/Kante. LWB/RWB depth/backup. CB, I dont think we are going to get bonucci but he is obviously the gold standard or Romagnoli (i have a bias towards italian defenders) Forza Chelsea! BoyBlue96 990
Just saw the Arsene FC vs Spuds derby highlights and man I'm glad we didn't go head to head with Arsene for Mustafi. Rekin 835
What do people think about Fabinho? He has been excellent for Monaco since joining them, and the club has showed that it is willing to sell for the right amount of money. While my idea of the perfect midfield is Verratti - Kante, I think it might be hard to accomplish. With the midfield we have now, we could most likely wave goodbye to any title chase if either of Matic or Kante got any longer injury spell. Fabinho might be a bit on the defensive side, but he could cover for either of those two, and I believe he would also challenge Matic for his spot. If we can not get Nainggolan or Verratti, then I would personally like to see us go for him. jernej93, sainttourist and blues.bridge

He is actually #1 on my wishlist, even above Verratti He is like better version of Matić and also more than capable of playing as RWB. He started his career as right back if I am not wrong? But anyway ... 23 years of age and perfect example of box to box midfielder - must have There are some players who were labelled as "not good enough defensively" when we were playing 4 at the back ... but left backs as Rodriguez, Creswell or Hector would probably shine in 343/352 system ?
