We won't ever be told the detailed reasons for a three-year loan agreement but it seems almost certain that it's to do with manipulating the accounts of one or both clubs. If that works for the money men then they know their business, let them get on with it. Juan didn't want to play here, few of us wanted him to play here, Milan wanted him to play there, Juve got him. Almost everybody is happy. As for the other players, given that none of them has any prospect of a Chelsea career, there must be reasons why their latest move is another loan, not a sale. If the squad builders or money men say this is the best way to go, who am I to argue. They know all the facts and I know none of them. Terrible decisions by the so called money men end of.38 loaness and most with no chance of Cfc football, verging on lol embarrissing.
jernej93 569
Maybe we haven't done too much bussines in attacking department because we have players like Musonda, Boga, Abraham and Palmer out on loan? Players like Pedro and Moses could easily be replaced by 2 od them next year
Adnane 1,101
Reckon Musonda and Christensen would normally be coming back to the first team next year, either that or they're getting the extra last year english loan to get into a premier league side experience, which many of our former bright prospects have failed right ? But these two are really promising, as for Abraham I would definitely loan him in the PL.

Look at Ake, he is probably their best defender and he is always benched just because every club tends to play their own players before loanees. I would rather bring him back and used him as a backup/3rd striker. In a system of 2 upfront he would get enough time to play and he would also learn from Costa and Michy. On the other hand I just don't see a reason why we would buy players like Griezmann? He is (second) striker and this is probably our strongest position - Costa in his prime (TOP8 strikers in the world), Michy and Traore as a very big potentials and Abraham in "the next big thing" role

Adnane 1,101
Guess it means that Hazard, Costa and Griezmann are all staying put until 2018 at least ? If the price of keeping Hazard is not getting Griezmann then it's okay.

I hope that Costa-Griezmann is the only link in transfers and NOT Hazard-Griezmann. kellzfresh, DYC., Peace. and 1 other

KevinAshburner 1,270
Neymar turned down Manchester United and £650,000-a-week offer from Paris Saint-Germain, says Barcelona star's agent http://talksport.com/football/neymar-turned-down-manchester-united-and-ps650000-week-offer-paris-saint-germain-says Neymar’s agent has revealed the Barcelona star snubbed offers from Manchester Unitedand Paris Saint-Germain in the summer. The Brazilian was linked with a move away from the Nou Camp before ending speculation over his future by signing a new long-term contract with the Spanish champions. But Wagner Ribeiro, Neymar's representative, claims the 24-year-old could have earned far more money by leaving Barca. According to Ribeiro, PSG's offer was worth an incredible £650,000-a-week, while United were also willing to pay a mega salary to lure the forward to Old Trafford. "He was close to joining PSG," Ribeiro told Bate-Bola Debat. "He would have earned €40million-a-year net. "Neymar was also close to a spell at Manchester United, but he extended his contract to earn less at Barcelona because he wanted to stay at Barcelona." !Hazard! 3,394
Martial on the bench in the Manchester derby. He hasn't been anywhere near the level of last season and this might be the turning point in his career under Mourinho. I wonder if we could make a cheeky bid for him in January? Obviously if plan is 4-3-3 or 3-4-3, he isn't needed.

At Chelsea like they can pull the trigger and sell most of them at one go. But it's reasonable to keep them signed and offload at the peak of value and/or when you really need to. They get it better and spread those sells over multiple windows because if you do this at once you can see benefits at one year's accounting books only.
