Barcelona can't buy in the next two windows.

Following the resolution announced today by the FIFA Appeals Committee on violations of regulations regarding the transfer and registration of children aged under 18 years, FC Barcelona announces that it shall continue defending its interests before the highest sporting authority, in this case the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

FC Barcelona may not in any way share a resolution that is an affront to the spirit of our Masia, a world renowned example of academic, human and sporting education.

Federico Fernandez joins Swansea

7 million...not a bad deal for an international quality defender

Great piece of business IMO. MU payed 20 million plus Nani for Rojo. Fernandez has already played in Serie A and La Liga while Rojo only has experience from Russia and Portugal.

Jeff Montero, Bafetimbi Gomis, Fabianski, Sigurdsson and Fernadnez - Swansea have signed great players again,

It's still not 100%. CAS can decide to erase the tranfer block. We were also banned by FIFA in 2009 and CAS let us free :)

Usually a club can buy such decisions at the CAS. Fifa/Uefa only sanction clubs because they want money from them and the CAS can command a settlement. I'd be rather surprised if such a ban is upheld by CAS.

FIFA - what a corrupt organisation full of fat old Cialis addict scumbags they are. So they ban Barcelona from making any transfer, then upheld the ban, let Barcelona spend more than £120m on Suarez, Rakitic, Vermaelen, Mathieu, ter Stegen, Bravo and Halilovic and then ban them again for the next two windows.

I'm more than sure that the reported figures for Vermaelen and Mathieu are nowhere near the real ones. There is no way these two mugs are worth £31m together. I bet that half of that money went to some shady FIFA agents and officials.

Seeing more and more people who have seen Rojo play saying he's average and not even an upgrade on what they have.

This could end up being hilarious to watch, guys.

I do like Rojo and have been following him a little for a few months, he was my favorite player for Argentina in the WC. However, I don't believe he will do much to raise the standards at United. He won't win them a title for sure.

According to the Times of tomorrow, we have offered 24 m euros + Torres on loan for Destro :D :D

Bit too much to be honest. He is a good player, but 24 m + Torres seems too much for him. still very raw and unproven...but better than Torres for sure

ChelsTransferGossip @ChelsTransfer 7m

Chelsea's proposal is they would sign Destro, valued at £20m; and allow Torres to leave on loan to #ASRoma for next season (Times) #CFC

#ASRoma are interested in signing Fernando Torres if they are able to reach an agreement over his wages of £180,000 per week. (Times) #CFC
