I know .... But if we splash 32 mil pounds on Willian considering our depth there and the average age of our amc/amr it does not seem so far fetched (i am totally happy with him though! ).

Our CM position needs options, quality options. But the January window is like booking a travel trip in high season. Crowded and expensive.

Definitely money is not our problem(thank god for that) but after the Torres fiasco I doubt we would spend big money on one player in January.If we do sign a midfielder in January it most probably will be someone like Imbula,Banega,Jorginho etc.

I doubt Imbula would cost more then 15m,Players from the french league are relatively cheaper bar Hazard.Jorginho is mainly a cm but he can also play as dm or cam.

I've seen Jorginho playing a few times in the last 12 months or so, he's got world class potential written all over him, he's a bit of an introvert but has that arrogance that top players tend to have. Yes, he's more of a cm, who can play as a box to box and do a job as an attacking midfielder.

Imbula, Banega, Jorginho.... sounds like a story (or television drama). BTW, I don't rule-out the possibility of Luiz leaving. If someone wants him, Chelsea would be smart to seize the opportunity and use the funds for an expensive centre midfielder who can run and excels technically.

That's why we have all these commercial deals in place, and if we have an asset that could be sold for a good return when he isn't first-choice for us then it is absolutely a possibility that he'll be sold.
