didierforever 7,349
Assuming we do not get Koke nor Pogburr, who do you like for CM? Until I watched highlights from the Stoke match, I had recently forgotten N'Zonzi. N'Zonzi is, for me a good choice at CM: stature, skill, experience in EPL, and full of running.Who else is out there, either in the UK or in continental Europe?nzonzi is a decent player but i would rather give RLC a chance than buy nzonzi.there is schneiderlein, imbula, kondogbia. the latter 2 being mikel replacements rather than CMs. i honestly think that a stop gap like bastian (if actually available) would be great. he would neither hamper RLC's chances in a couple of years. plus RLC can learn everything there is to learn from a WC player like bastian. plus bastian's got character, which always helps the team.i honestly dont think that pogba is even an option now. he is RM bound and no one can do anything about it. TheChelseaDane 48
I want baba and mourinho want him also. Why on earth would you want a relatively unknown player from Augsburg to replace Azpi? Baba may have som future prospect, but as first choice on left back. There is a 0% chance that is going to happen.
nadavTKL 1,787
He fought to get out of Porto and was loaned to Mineiro, and now he's doing the same in less than a year. Think it says enough about the player. More money is probably the reason for wanting to leave, as Valencia are on the up.Porto is not the top of europe, Valencia is not the top of europe, every player wants to get there and Otamendi is 27 and at his peak, thats his final chance. Sure he also wants the big money, but whats wrong about that? thats football and he's definitely not an exception. In other news, AS claiming Atletico will sell Miranda this summer. One year on his contract.
CurlyHairLikeLuiz 1,625
IMO we don't need a new CB. Terry can still play most/all games next season, and still be playing the season after. Zouma is in the wings to play next to Cahill soon. Iva can play CB. And finally, Christensen, who is 18 is everything people above here is looking for and he will be emerging soon indeed. stroey

If Lim spends in the summer, I think they'll be more of a threat than Utd (supposed suitors).

N'Zonzi and Schneiderlin are better choices than any mention. N'Zonzi has as much skill as everyone you mention and is rarely hurt --plus stronger and taller. A worthy candidate for any purpose in CM, but capable of being a starter regardless of the competition, I'm betting.

Popular Post! Pizy 19,381 Posted May 25, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted May 25, 2015 Can't believe what I'm reading in here...N'Zonzi? Really!?I just want one superstar/world class signing along with a couple of very good options at the level just below. A Griezmann/Bale/Reus level attacking player along with Schniederlin and another striker.Have this bad feeling that we won't make a single marquee signing, though, and will simply freshen up the options we have in the squad. Just get players who will give competition to our current first XI. Would be a mistake doing so as well. We need to push on and not remain still while United/City/Arse spend £100m or more each. didierforever, Viper22, Blue-in-me-Veins and 6 others
quickpassnmove 924
I got the same reaction from posters on Morgan Schneiderlin when I said he would be a good acquisition two years ago in springtime. N'Zonzi's good enough too. Schweiny isn't coming to Chelsea, neither are Koke and Pogburr. I would be happy with Schneiderlin coming, but I'm going to guess that won't happen either. Jubilent if Mikel leaves and someone good comes in --doesn't need to be the superstar player on his way in.

He will be competing with Matic for playing time and will definitely not best Nemanja for that starting role. He walks in City, Arsenal or Utd and starts pretty much every game. nadavTKL 1,787
I think Mourinho could want Schneiderlin (or another player with similar attributes) so he could play him next to Matic and Cesc in some games like he did with Ramires a lot. While he can also be Matic's back up.
quickpassnmove 924
Rather have N'Zonzi than any of those players in Ligue 1. So, if none of Pogba, Schweiny, Koke, and Schneiderlin are incoming, then who?

AtlantaChelseaFan 7
You say Di Maria has been a flop yet he still has 10 Assists this season only Fabregas has more! Di Maria is an assist magnet like Fabregas, he was unlucky starting his career in England playing for a Man United team who had many key players injured a new manager who didnt know his best XI and were playing terrible football! he couldnt settle, and that is understandable giving the circumstances. At Chelsea it would be very different for him and would no doubt show what he can really do for us, he would be an incredible signing for us, and would most likley get 15+ assists in the PL with us. its a no brainer to sign him if he is available. I have to agree. I think in our system Di Maria would shine. Pacquiao
Mechromancer 262
He always has been pretty irregular with a few moments of unrealistic performance(like the first part of the 2011-12 season). If you followed the player, you will know what is there. Madrid sold him in the right time. Great move.Like i say in the beginning of the last season, 75m for the Di María trade was fucking crazy. It seems i was right.

didierforever 7,349
i think jose will stick to his word about buying 1 maybe 2 additions to the squad, the rest will be replacements like 2nd GK for cech.. etc etc..i wanted a pogba/koke so that cesc could be shifted to no.10 but after watching willian playing as a no10, i am mesmerized. think we should go all out for a RW (reus). not greizemann not douglas costa but a proper world class goal scoring winger.i think luis will be sold. he is not what we want considering we want a defensive left back and give hazard the freedom to roam freely.outs - cech, luis, mikel,DD,ins - 2nd GK, 2nd LB, romeu/mvg(loan), bamford. plus an extra signing of reus. we should make it our top priority.
