dukeman 9
I totally disagree here. Finally he'll have a manger here who will last more than one season so I think the manager faith debate really isn't a strong one this season. As for the striking options next season.I am pretty certain that Ba and Eto'o will leave the club,so if that does happen I guess Lukaku will get enough chances if he continues his good run of form at Everton. There is no need to panic ,we all know he loves the club and wants to be the main man here. Our striking options next season will be very strong-Torres,Lukaku and someone like maybe Martinez,Falcao etc.Mate, then he will get distributed the role of Demba Ba today. Do you think that will satisfy him if he had another year of 15+ PL goals?I agree with most things that are said about Lukaku around here, and that he might not have been ready for Chelsea this season . But as long as Chelsea keeps buying world class strikers, there is no point for him to stay as technically he gets outclassed by all the names that are coming to your mind now. And we know what Mourinho wants to achieve with the attacking compartiment of his team.
kellzfresh 7,229
Lukaku is playing for a manager that bases on link up play, scoring goals, looking like the number one striker for his country so far everything is progressing smoothly for him this world cup year. Weckerz 3,781
Why is he at Everton?Because you sent him on loan, José. I don't understand what he's trying to say here. The decision to loan someone out lies with the manager. If he had plans for Lukaku this loan deal would have never happened, even if he asked for a loan himself. The only place to be 11,313
Why is he at Everton?Apparently we've got to wait for him to tell us, because Jose doesn't seem willing to. God knows what the fuck Jose is playing at because it seems remarkably petty, essentially calling out a player for NOT saying something to the media when the ultimate decision should rest with him. Lukaku going out on loan was not up to the player - all Jose had to do was tell Lukaku that he was saying and loan out Ba instead. Slating Lukaku in public looks pathetic. He could've said no and tell him he'll have enough games for Chelsea this season. Instead we buy an old guy and fail to sell an average player in Ba.It's not like Romelu is criticizing José in the press? I can't help but feel he's a bit bitter, because he realised he's made a mistake in loaning out his best striker. Mufassir08

johnnythefirst 1,076
That's quite a childish remark from José. Out of nowhere really.Maybe he talks to much yes, but who should know more about when to speak and when to shut up? A 20 year old boy or a 50 year old manager?I don't know why a manager would publicly chastise his players after an annoying question from a journalist. Jack Uzzi 54
How strange to put Lukaku in public on the spot like that.If you think he should talk less to the media ... give him a call and tell him so.If you are not happy with what he said in the media ... just say that in public, nothing else, and give him a call making that clear.Hitting out to your own 20 year old player on loan, hard to understand. Lukaku might not have said anything bad to the press but the fact that he's talking about his loan situation is constantly putting the spotlight on his loan deal and giving the press ammunition to complain about it to Mourinho.I think Mourinho was clear. Lukaku needs to keep his mouth shut. Finish the loan deal which he asked for himself. chelseathebest, OneMoSalah, Barbara and 9 others
Popular Post! Jype 6,398 Posted November 29, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted November 29, 2013 As usual, people are making this a way bigger deal than it really is. I see Mourinho's comments as nothing more than a friendly reminder to Lukaku that he should think twice about what he says to the media. In the past, even before Jose's arrival and the Everton loan, Lukaku has occasionally been a bit immature and naive with the way he has spoken to the media, making a lot of fans and maybe even some people in the club's boardroom question his attitude so now Mourinho has given him a clear message that he needs to cut the bullshit and grow up if he wants to return to Chelsea one day. If Lukaku is a top professional like I've always considered him to be he will not get butthurt over Mourinho's comments and instead tries to learn something from this. If it works and Lukaku learns his lesson, Mourinho has done the right thing here but if it doesn't and Lukaku starts to resent Mourinho so easily then he really is still an immature kid who maybe isn't ready to lead the line for us after all, which is something Mourinho will be happy to know when making his plans for next season. iceboy, The Mak, Tomo and 8 others

YouNameIt 1,511
Obviously he did something wrong and pissed off Mourinho Obviousley you are clueless if you think a player lukaku is loaned out because "he did something wrong and pissed off Mourinho".I suggest you, and everyone here who is paranoid (that means people who read a twitch status made by someone named Agent34324234 and trust it with their life) should just get real. The only place to be 11,313
As usual, people are making this a way bigger deal than it really is. According to Lukaku, the club hasn't been in contact for a couple of months.Last season he made a point of saying that the club would talk to him about what they wanted him to work on. If Mourinho wants to give him a friendly reminder about something, why doesn't he talk to the lad? This all seems remarkably poorly handled. AndersonBLUE 819
I'm at a loss about this whole thing, what exactly is the problem here? I can't see one. It's so naive to think that they only communicate via the media. kellzfresh
