Reddish-Blue 2,505
No, it seemed like classic Chelsea to loan out a hungry kid who has earned a chance and instead go with a 32 year old shirt-seller.Exactly..he's a hungry kid looking to make an impact, he wants to score goals...Out of our current strikers, none of them look like they want to prove a point....Eto'o has already achieved everything with Barca and Inter...Torres' best form is long gone and Ba just isn't good enough to lead the line for a club like ChelseaI just hope we can start next season with Lukaku and (insert name of new striker) as our main options upfront. Las7 951
Had we not loaned Lukaku and Ba/Etoo actually delivered as they were supposed to, this season we would have an unhappy kid on the bench angry because he neither gets playing time, nor was he given the loan he asked for. I'm fucking sure everyone was expecting Eto'o to bang 30 goals this season. And Ba was already a fan favoritePlease keep this kind of thinking to yourself no one expected anything from Eto'o/Ba/Torres it's why we were fucking surprised Lukaku was allowed to go on loan. It's why we were suprised Torres who scored 1 goals in the EPL second half of last season was ahead of Luakaku in the pecking order. It takes a fucking genius to figure out Eto'o is a stop gap and Ba hasn't done much since joining while Torres is the biggest flop in the EPL. Gilvorak 3,734
Look, we clearly fucked this up but as least he's still our player unlike Morrison, Pogba, Rossi, Pique etcEven if we decide to sell him we'll get a hefty fee. In this current market the best young striker in football would easily court £30m+

HD3D 1,038
Why would Chelsea buy an unproven striker from La Liga if Lukaku is ready to play for Chelsea soon ?Perhaps because he likes to run his mouth and it's clear from past interviews that Mourinho is not liking that.I also hope it doesn't happen, but it wouldn't surprise me tbh. Nor would it surprise me if it was Mata in exchange for Diego Costa.

Mouri_Matic 560
Look like a decent striker that is suitable for teams just like Everton atm, no where near Chelsea quality. Really need to sort this out if he wants to make it here, by his age Aguero was scoring 25-30 goals per season for Madrid, Torres has been captained of his team, Rooney blasting it in for MU weekly. If he wants to be our no1 and eventually one of the best in the world, then now is the time to step up. Atm he just looks sulky without the ball. In his first five years at Man Utd, Rooney made less PL goals (per season of course) than Lukaku in his year at West Brom. ;-) Stats
Blue Warrior 109
The pressure of playing for Everton and West Brom does not compare to playing for Chelsea. I want to see a more honest attitude from the man.

Aguero at 20/21 had 17 league goals and in the following season had 12 league goals. Lukaku has got 8 PL from 13 league starts already and is way on course to get up to the 20 mark. Jesus Christ, he goes 5 games without scoring and all of a sudden he is not our quality. RVP had his dry spells last season and this season too but quality will always eventually show. When you are 20, playing every week because you are much better than the other strikers there it is natural for him to slack of a little. But get your facts right please because if you compare what Aguero done to Lukaku at the age of 19, while Lukaku was at WBA, you cannot compare the two. Lukaku got 17 league goals right last season at a much inferior team.Find me proof to show Aguero done more than Lukaku at around the same age. And also many players in there 20's, like Drogba had not even been on the big stage and you are hear judging Lukaku at 20. Give him a break! He has been nothing short of excellent this season and is a big reason why they are up there with the likes of City, us, Arsenal and Liverpool. Can't even believe you had one person like your post, let alone bloody 3! Sorry your post is absolute rubbish and untrue. He is showing signs every season that he is going to be a world class striker and he is getting better and better! Blue Warrior 109
Lukaku needs to be more clinical and work on his conditioning. Mourinho alluded to it in interviews. If he maintains the work ethic he will be scoring goals for Chelsea for along time.
