I don't think its a fact that Sneijder can't defend at all, hes never really played in a position where hes had to do much defending due to his play making skills and shooting abilities, when was the last time you seen a #10 constantly defending? Sure its risky to try him in the pivot but his passing and vision is superb, can play with both feet really well and is/was a top player. When he was Inter as Spike said he was probably the best MF player in the world.

Yes but hes a young lad, in his debut season in the CL. How many times can you say Luiz has performed as well as Varane did in those El Classicos Real Madrid won this season? Or as good as Varane was against Manchester United at Old Trafford? The only good games I can remember Luiz having in central defense was the CL final last year. Luiz has been good as a CM for us in some games but yet again if we could sign someone who naturally plays there and is better than Luiz where does that leave him? I think defensively Varane is probably better than Luiz. Luiz can have major lapses in concentration that has cost us points, especially at center back. I have a feeling other teams look to target him when he plays there due to this. Varane would need to be first choice if he came here though as hes still growing and looks like a terrific player in the making. If Jose can iron out the creases in Luiz's games that Robbie kinda started doing and Rafa continued to do slightly then sure he'd be much much much better but at times he doesn't think, he does ridiculously stupid shit. Hes his own worst enemy.

This. Anyway our core for the next while will be Cech/Courtois, Azpi, Luiz, Mikel, Ramires, Mata, Oscar and Hazard. Possibly add Lukaku and Kevin De Bruyne eventually too. If we can get some good players for our squad too like Fergie did at United, we will be laughing though, as it helps A LOT to have good players who can step up when players aren't playing well/injuries/suspensions. When the cunts didn't think Rooney was playing well enough they played Kagawa or Welbeck as the 10 behind RVP or RVP behind Hernandez/Welbeck. If we had a higher quality of subs for the likes of Mata or Oscar we'd be able to rest them. City had 4 strikers, all better than Torres, at one point last season, they could bring them on if players from their 'core' were under-performing. Would help if we could get some high quality players and manage to keep them all happy without them all playing but if you can't do that you run the risk of them becoming upset.

I only over hit my crosses because I don't usually play on the wing! The problem is since Choulo is a Juve fan we'd end up cheating our ways to multiple titles as he'd be bribing folk like Conte and the Juve board does. Stingray can play on the wing, I am more of a RB as in a sense, if you go past me I will kick your ankle so you go no further. Good tactic I've learned from my experience of playing on the wing, if you go past someone 9 times out of 10 they will chop you down. Or early in you get clattered at least 2 or 3 times.
