I would sacrifice Cech to make sure Courtois is a Chelsea player for sure next year. All this talk of us swapping him for Falcao or even Barcalona and Real sniffing around is making me worry. Hes eventually going to want to kick start his career so we need to get him involved sooner rather than later. Cech is an amazing keeper and has been an utter beast in the sticks for us but I think its time (either the start of next season or the one after) that Thibaut gets involved. I feel he can eclipse Cech, which is very very high praise and would love to see him get games sooner rather than later. Hes making incredible noise in Spain so why not give him a shot here? Yes Cech has been here since 2004 basically and has won it all with us but hes going to have to leave soon. Plus you know what Roman thinks about the average age of the squad, he wants it reduced hence the 1 year deals for Lamps and Cole so it could be the same with Cech soon enough.

Can't hack it in Russia so why pay a massive fee for him? Sure if hes available for 10-15 million I'd accept it but anything more is a waste. The chances of Zenit selling him for 25-30 million less than what they payed for him as well is extremely unlikely, also Zenit don't really need to sell as they aren't in debt or that, they are rich enough. So a reduced price seems unlikely.

Would hardly say Romeu has played bad for us since coming here, he played two or three games this year under Robbie and Rafa. Under AVB he was one of our best midfielders so to judge him on 2 or 3 games is rather harsh compared to the 20 odd he played under AVB. Anyway how highly do you rate Sven Bender? Juan Mata, Eden Hazard, Oscar, David Luiz, Cesar Azpilicueta, John Obi Mikel, Josh McEachran, Kevin De Bruyne imo are the best technical players we have. Possibly throw Nathan Ake in there, not seen a lot but being Dutch I'm guessing he was brought up in an academy that like most Dutch academies are based on improving technical abilities and ball retention.

I'm assuming you mean an individuals technical ability yeah.... technical ability can really be anything Anyway this is what I think falls under 'technical ability': first touch, ball control, awareness, vision, passing, crossing, decision making - in terms of where and when to pass/how the player executes the pass etc.

Hazard is better imo. There is no doubting Neymars potential, he is a talented player just he is very unproven in Europe. Even with Brazil recently against Russia and England he has hardly performed to a high level. My prediction is Hazard will win the Ballon d'Or in 2015
