  1. 1) Napoli still hold the cards, as he has a few years on his deal left. Plus hes never stated hes desperate to move/wants to leave like Suarez has just done has he? Hes said hes still reasonably happy in Naples several times. Hes only said he dreams of playing in Spain recently. 2) There is no proof Napoli are interested in Torres, just because Rafa is there it means nothing. Rafa never tried to sign Torres at Inter did he? Would you rather 30-40 million and a shit striker or a full 50 million? I know what I'd rather. Who even says Napoli can afford to pay £175,000 p/w to Torres? They probably can't, in fact no probably about it, they can't. Some of the money we'd be giving Napoli would have to cover his big contract too so they would end up with less than 30-40 million too as their wage structure is inferior in comparison to ours 3) Same as 2, there is no proof Rafa/Napoli has the desire to buy Torres when he already has Cavani who isn't dead on to leave yet. Torres won't be sold, hes a big investment by Roman, if he was as ruthless as he was with his managers he'd have been gone by now but he isn't so expect more of the same until 2016 or 2017 when his deal runs out.
  2. I'm actually confused to why we didn't try sign him instead of Torres in 2011. We played 4-3-3 under Carlo, he could have played left or right wing or even through the middle. Sure he turned out to be a cunt but look at the goals hes scored in comparison to Floppes.
  3. Not really. I wouldn't be surprised if Cavani stayed at Napoli. They would be imbeciles to take €20-30 million and Torres in return for Cavani. They don't even need to sell Cavani, hes got a long contract and even Cavani has said hes still happy in Naples. Rafa isn't an idiot too when he starts working with Edison he'll see hes much much better than Torres. Sure we all hope it happens but I can't see it... they will accept either €50 million or whatever his release fee is in cash or not sell to us. Plus can you see Torres accepting a lower wage in a shitter league when hes stated he wants to stay here if they were to accept cash and Torres?
  4. Haha do I smell shirts burning again?
  5. He wears one sleeve short and one sleeve long to imitate Roman gladiators apparently or its something to do with covering up his tattoo to show respect. http://thesoccerforces.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/sleeve-shirts-mystery-daniele-de-rossi.html Plus De Rossi's tattoo on his left arm is this http://thesoccerforces.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/sleeve-shirts-mystery-daniele-de-rossi.html He also has on his bicep on his right arm this: which is for his daughter apparently.
  6. Surely you England fans will have seen him in this game In all seriousness though, I hope we get him and I feel we will now that Mancini isn't City boss.
  7. Apparently he went through a messy divorce a year ago or something that was very much public and there's more rumors about him wanting a new challenge etc.
  8. Tancredi Palmeri ‏@tancredipalmeri1mChelsea officially contacted Roma for De Rossi. Roma keen to sell. Hoping for 20m €,could accept 15m €. Still no bid. De Rossi has to decide Expand EDIT: Beaten to it, but I've got a picture of Tancredi so I win
  9. Well Hazard and Oscar both play out of position already basically but it will give us better options I suppose. I can see Schurrle being used on the right more than Hazard though.
  10. I thought Reus played on the left no? Lamela is a decent shout but from what I've heard hes similar to Schurrle as in he'll probably shoot more than pass. Still think we should of nabbed him before Roma did from River Plate though, even though perhaps 18 million euros for a player playing in Argentina is a bit steep but look at what hes done in Serie A. Zemens tactics and philosophy though has been a big part of his development, would he flourish in a more counter attacking 4-2-3-1 in comparison to a gun ho attacking 4-3-3 ?
  11. He probably would be able to with Mata and Hazard helping. You forget without Suarez Liverpool would be like 15th
  12. Graham Dorrans before he made it big ?
  13. Took me until about 1 minute 30 seconds to start laughing, the old guys laugh though hahahahahahha
  14. Just got an assist for Benteke's goal. 2-1 to the Red Devils.
  15. Haha, the sun doesn't like me though, hence the sun burn
  16. Would be unreal, the fact that Ronaldo, Suarez and Bale could all interchange and eventually end up playing ST or left or right wing. Whoever goes there if they could get that working they'd be a real force.
  17. He may be a cunt but what a player. Would prefer him upfront rather than Torres or Demba Ballbag
  18. Oh yeah forgot to mention in my first post, City will probably line up 4-3-3 as that Txiki and other ex-Barca cunt basically wank over Pep Guardiola's 4-3-3 high pressing tiki taka bullshit.
  19. Yeah exactly what was said above, we struggled this year so if they get Cavani, Isco and Fernandinho were even more fucked.
  20. Player of the season : Robin Van Cunt / Juan Mata Young player of the season : Christian Benteke / Eden Hazard Best transfer of the season : Romelu Lukaku to WBA (loan) / Christian Benteke to Villa / Michu to Swansea Worst transfer of the season : Jose Bosingwa to QPR / Marko Marin to Chelsea Best managerial appointment of the season : Steve Clark at WBA (overachieved something hellish with an average squad) / Andre Villas-Boas at Spuds (record points total at Spurs despite no CL, took Bale and Spurs to another level, silenced his doubters) / Michael Laudrup at Swansea (European football next year says it all). Worst managerial appointment of the season : RDM (inexperienced in top flight managing, was never going to be backed, didn't have the experience to get out of that run of results that ultimately cost him his job) / Harry Redknapp (most overrated manager on the go, spent 25-30 million and QPR still went down) / Mark Hughes (signed some real good players, QPR still did shit, surely if he goes to Stoke he will be a bit more cautious in the transfer market and look for hungry players as opposed to big names/mercenaries like Bosingwa ) Goal of the season : Lowton's vs Stoke, no contest Overachieving team of the season : West Brom, they were in the top 4 for like 8 weeks at the start of the season and finished reasonably well. Highest PL finish ever for them as well. Underachieving club of the season : Newcastle, really expected them to push on. Europa League and a thin squad didn't go hand in hand but in Janaury they made some smart moves so watch out for them next season. Best match of the season : United 5 WBA 5 Best moment of the season : Lampard scoring his 203rd goal for us against Villa! Been very critical of Lamps this year and last year but he broke the record and did it some style, winning goal, basically sealing our top 4 place! Complaint of the season : Suarez biting Branna. Bale diving all over the joint.
  21. Apparently Benitez asked Napoli president De Laurentiis to get him either Luiz, Kompany or Skrtel but it was rejected due to their prices. Well he was told no about Luiz and Kompany. Tbh if we want Cavani I can see that cunt asking for Luiz in return
  22. Na he said Ibra would be interested in a move back to Juve but he'd probably have to agree to cut his wages in half! Plus half the stuff he says comes from Sky Italia, which can be dodgy but I think hes not as bad as you make out.
  23. I think he will be a player Jose will really like to be honest. Hes good on the ball, gets stuck in, positioning and awareness is quite good as well so he'll hopefully get more games.
