Not too happy about our fixtures. Far from ideal.

Could prove to be a murderous run in with those last 6 fixtures. Arsenal and United back to back and Palace, West Brom, and Sunderland may be fighting for their survival until the very end just like they were this past season and we may be drained from a deep CL run.

I'd much rather have a very tough first few months and an easy run in than this.

Yup. It's a tough run in sandwiched between Champions League games but if we can get through that period and be amongst the top three (hopefully higher but keeping expectations low) then that four month period after is where we can pick up some serious points.

Fergie used to say that if United were 5 points off the top at Christmas then they could definitely win the league with their experience. I think the same applies. It's unkind scheduling but if we can use the squad effectively for the midweek CL games then we've got enough to win these games.

Of course if we win all these games..... :D

Yeah, reality often seems to disagree with what's on paper, especially for us. Last season it was the run of tough games that made close the gap to the top, so you never know.

Sure as night follows day, there will be punch ups on boxing and new years day. (West ham and the yids).

However, theres no way the fixtures could come out without doubts arising, but we're going to win the league, in jose we trust.

"Mourinho may well have a legitimate claim to call foul play when he sees what lies in the store for Chelsea. The games that take place on weekend after European games are usually the battleground for grievances and Chelsea's fixtures following their Champions League group games are as follows: Manchester City (away); Arsenal (home); Manchester United (away); Liverpool (away); Sunderland (away) and Hull City (home)."
