im definately going to side with you on that one.. its easy for messi to be a beast in spain where defence is not a main factor teams just try to outscore each other... i find it hard to see him doing such here just look at ronaldo's stats in england and since his move to spain that should be the biggest indicator and ronaldo is built for the premier league

2. Wrong on every level about Newcastle. They've been shit this season. They've also been shit this season with Ba. When Ba left, they were 15th or so. They've only managed to stay a float until January because of Ba. So by the time January came around, they were able to buy a bunch of Frenchies to save their season. They've done better since, but, technically, they can still get relegated.

Easy to say that now on hindsight. IIRC, when we played them back in August, we were a tad cautious knowing full well the threat they can pose because of their success last season when discussing about the game etc.

Only important goals I can pick from this list is Arsenal...and he only scored because of Koscielny and one of his brain farts. The United goal was completely cancelled out by his miss of the millennia that followed and I don't count the Barca goal for much, since we had pretty much won already. £50m and 175k+ a week to score against pub teams (and mainly at home)? I would've rather let Sturridge do that to be honest.
