KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
How exactly? No idea, mate. I'm no architect/builder I'm sure they can close the gaps in the corners somehow though.

Waterfall 893
Corners are fine. It's just that there's not much you can do with 2 of them because of the power station structure
Kez 2,727
Wow, very unique idea, would love to see some images from outside the stadium. xPetrCechx
Tricky 301
Remember this is a concept drawing, dinstance from the pitch etcetra would not be an issue if it were to go ahead.Still it my fingers crossed regarding the consultation period, hoping that a) they pull out due to it being financially unviable or offer us the power station and co-develope the site with us, could save them some money (underground station, the power station itself?.Pains me to say it but we have to leave the Bridge, never going to be able to develope a suitable stadium on that site. BlueLion. 21,491
It looks absolutely stunning. Imagine walking into that as an opposition player, it would be as imposing as the Bernabeu. capriccioso

Slam Dunk 1,442
When should we expect to hear more news on this? After the Malaysian investors have finalised their plans and either submit them/retract their bid, due to be announced 28 days after they were chosen as the preferred bidders (which would be 5th July I believe.)Obviously if they (the Malaysians) are to go ahead with their purchase, Chelsea would have to work out a deal with them afterwards and convince them on the merit of building a stadium on the site. I see it as unlikely, but it's not impossible. fabiomad and xPetrCechx

Slam Dunk 1,442
It's all over guys. The Malaysian investors have purchased the site and have permission to build shops/hotel/offices etc. What a waste. KonohasOrangeFlash and Peace.

The Malaysian investors have purchased the site and have permission to build shops/hotel/offices etc. What a waste.I know it's all about money, but what a shame that you (the competent authorities) sold a remarkable London site (well, I am not sure if it is "that" remarkable, but at least a well known place) to a foreign investors while you could have sell it to a London-based club which is currently one of the best in the world (-> well representative of the city). westcountryblue 25
The renders that the club released did look amazing for Battersea, it would have been so unique.Have the club identified other sites? I know there were whispers of Earls Court, but I heard that already has planning permission for house/flats, so that seems unlikely. The only other rumor I heard was that Chelsea were considering a bid for Chelsea and Westminster hospital. It will be interesting to see what happens next. We Hate Scouse 10,326
What about somewhere in Earls court? It isn't very easy to find land in London. Especially when you are limited to such a small space. There's only 3 or 4 sites that are now available to us.
