Architecturally speaking, it's a fantastic opportunity. Would love to see what the architects could come up with.

It could easily work out like the Allianz Arena has for Bayern, In making a brilliant atmosphere. IMO, There should be a singing section designated behind one of the goals, That way an Atmosphere could really build

The problem is that Battersea Power station is one of those marmite buildings. Some people absolutely hate it while others love it. Personally I would be embarrassed to have my team playing in the old power station

Would be interested to see what the plans will look like. Certainly looks to be plenty of surrounding area. Would the plan be to incorporate the current station or demolish the lot and rebuild would be what I'd like to know.

Couldnt be built inside the power station as its not big enough, the chimneys also need sorting as well due to the fact they are well over their life expectancy so they need pulling down before they fall down, this could be the reason that they made the offer to the cpo, the debt on the site has matured and its possible for the lenders to call it in so puts any new bidder in a good position should that arise as the current owners dont have the money.

Id imagine that the power station shell if kept (not totally impossible to demolish) would be turned into shops or offices etc whilst the new ground would be built on some of the other parts derelict site.
