This doesn't surprise me because Arsenal usually does well when it comes to internet polls, especially ones that are put up by Sky Sports. I think it's down the fact that their fans have been starved of consistent successes for so long, so their fans just vote or retweet the hell out of whatever poll or competition that's running, just so that they can get a feeling of what it's like to win something.
