Ozil and Arsenal clearly shows how if your going to invest big on a player, you really have to accodomate them.... most of the time....

Watching Ozil for Arsenal is so frustrating knowing ozil talent level.

While I do agree that Ozil should be played in his best position, a truly great player should be able to make a difference anyway. You think it's easy for Fabregas to play in the midfield two where he hadn't played for 7 years? He clearly feels more comfortable in 4-3-3 or even as #10(the two positions he played for the majority of his career), yet he doesn't complain like Ozil and contributes in every game.

IMO, you can't excuse Ozil's poor performance only because he was shifted to the wing. Ozil plays like he doesn't give a shit about anything.

... which has been a pattern throughout his whole career. German fans want him out of their NT's first-11 constantly as Özil is the definition of a fair wheather footballer; good as long as the team plays well but if things are looking bad he'll look even worse.

Disagree.

Players like Cristiano, RVP, Messi are all catered to their strongpoints... Juventus and Italy caters to Pirlo skillset, which Allegri and Milan were unwilling to do. City caters towards Yaya and Aguero to excel.... Barcelona didnt cater to Yaya. Yaya didnt improve at City, he just was put in better position to succeed.

Arsenal is putting Ozil on the wings where like Eden he is not the most ideal defender on the wings, however, for Chelsea, the rest of the team is comprised of hard working players, unlike Arsenal.....However, I do agree with the notion Ozil is somewhat lazy and doesnt put the effort both ways...

When Walcott was healthy, Ozil was playing cam for Arsenal and arsenal was playing well as was ozil. Fact of the matter is that one of the 3 needs to be dropped in jack, ramsey or ozil similar to united dilemma.

Ozil belonged and should of went to Barcelona in 2010...

Get ready, guys. When United spank QPR here the internet will be unbearable.

They'll be penciling them in as joint title favorites tonight.

"Our season starts here!" and "Start of a new era!" will be thrown around by the media and United's insufferable supporters.
