What is this ridiculous revisionism re: Welbeck? I've heard Patrick Barclay saying £16m was a steal and he wouldn't have minded paying £36m for him. You'd think this is some Cruyff-Maradona lovechild, not someone who has a record of 1 goal per 5 games.

Well, my mother - if she had continued her football career, at age 54 could be Brazil's striker right now. We've been stinking on that for a while and the only good one we actually produced we ignored and then he chose to play for Spain. We double-suck, we're almost as bad as Wenger. Almost.
