No chance you can look at Newcastle or Spuds or any of these usual midtable or lower sides that are above us currently and say they’re more talented than we are. I’d argue that if all our players were at their peak level we’d have the second most talented squad in the league after City.

Arse have a bunch of players who everyone would’ve said are bang average prior to this season. Everyone was saying United’s team were all bang average as recently as a few months ago when they got off to that dreadful start.

What these clubs have that we don’t right now is completely buy-in to the manager from their players.

That's it..when Man U made their signings there was a lot of meh what a load of average people no one to fear etc etc. And how quickly it's all changed! He is getting a lot lot lot from them! Got rid of egos didn't convince Ronaldo to stay after that interview...

Same like you say with Arteta. Jesus injury a lot of ooo they'll now suffer yet apart apart from Newcastle which wasn't a bad result they're doing find still!!

Ours just don't know how to play together..or how to play. Or how to give a crap atm!

Fair enough. Still it is amazing how quickly it has gone from bad to worse. Eva has a sketchy reputation herself btw

Yet, there are plenty of great physios and orthopedics out there. Boehly himself has employed some at the dodgers and lakers... why did we still hire those common cold quacks?

I think its just not so easy to rebuild a medical departement so quickly. So these guys who are here atm are surely only placeholders, and a lot of sources told us that the hierarchy is already looking for a better solution. This transformation process is going to take a lot of time. U cant just force pep to work here, u have to find some, convince them and so on.

Sometimes I feel like some people underestimate what actually happened with this club and how quickly it happened.

I don't know - they humiliated us, now they are doing the same with Liverpool with Solly March and Danny Welbeck

Next week in the Premier League - stoppable force vs movable object

We’ve been so monumentally shit that I haven’t even glanced at the table or watched a single minute of any football other than ours in months. So finding out just now that Liverpool are having an almost equally as shit of a season as we are is nice.

Oddly ours is quite neat looking if think about it! We've won 7...lost 7 so thats even lol. Scored 21..21 against so goal difference 0 again even..10th place.

And atm as it stsnds we are 10 points from the bottom 3 and top 10 from top 4!

Liverpool going from 2nd in the table last year to a likely Europa League finish this year.

That's why I find all this talk about us needing a massive rebuild for 2 years to become challengers again, pointless.

We could just as easily return to top 3 next season (injuries notwithstanding) and still finish outside top 6 in the season after that.

The league is just that much more competitive now, and you have at least 7 teams in contention.

If you don't get it right with transfers or injuries, it will cost you, and that's just how it will be for seasons moving forward.

Only the clubs with infinite resources could hold an iron grip on top 4.

UEFA also realizes this., and it won't be to long before they expand the Champions league slots to at least 6 teams from each of the major leagues.
