Nah, pogba was good even last season. He just have tendency to do too much

Exactly. The amount of criticism he received last season was ridiculous. He might not have been the star of the league - weak big game performances for a player of his status - but he was fantastic overall.

Terrible defending for that goal but Lukaku reacted and finished brilliantly. Striker goal that.

The criticism came because of his price tag but Pogba was excellent. This united teams has brilliant squad, I even rated them as the best squad last season yet they spend over 100m nettt this season.

Last year this united team underachieved big time, if Mourinho name is not mou but moyes or bob, he will be gone by the end of last season.

I wouldn't call Utd's 15/16 squad brilliant (a lot of good and solid players but only two outstanding players in Pogba and Ibra) but arguably the best squad, yeah. They've made quite a few changes since the start of last season but they're still top three.

Agree with that last part.

Now Matic plays for Utd he'll most likely be severely overrated.

Matic is not a great player but he's not a terrible player either. At Chelsea he had a tendency of starting well, only to slowly burn out as the season went on.

At 29, he's reaching his prime as a holding midfielder though. Would be funny if he went on to reach a new level.

This, people thought matic is scrap. He is a starting midfielder for 2 title winning squad. He is a good dm, nobody deny that.  Conte wanted him to stay but he wanted to leave, he is 29 with only juve as rumored suitor and juve will never offer 40 m, only team like united can offer such amount for 29 years old player.

They had everyting. Wc targetman ibra, fast striker rashford, fast winger lingard+martial, creative am mata+mhyky, wc mid - pogba, all around mid - herrera. Mous has so many option and none of them were bad. 6 th was not acceptable, last year united team should have been least a contender.

Just a shame we haven't at this point benefited from the sale!

It's between the 2 Manchester clubs for sure though early days..both have strong squads..

This is the problem not the sale. Where is the cm that we need or a wb.

This is what happen when the two teams that had the best squad last season also spent the most nett spend this season. The Manchester clubs have spent over 100m each nett this season. It is true that there is a big 6 in epl but not in term of spending

This is actually kind of sad to watch. It's like us and United have gone in opposite directions. That's probably kneejerk, but until we get our players back from injury or make a few signings I can't see us playing nearly this well.

They look like the well oiled machine we did last season.
