Something fishy with sterling contracts talk. Either Real and Bayern are really interested or he just wants incredible money

I think there's no way Bayern or Real would be interested. he's not good enough right now and imo not that talented like people seem to think in England.

Only team i can really see going for him in the summer is City. They need a player in Nasri's spot and they need english players because Lampard and Milner are probably gone. I would be very happy if Sterling is the player they get. Hopefully they'll get Barkley too. Yeah im not pro-english, two players who are very talented for english players, not that special outside of England.

It's because Players born on or after 1 January 1992 are still eligible for the U-21 2015 championships

I really wish they would change the rule. Making 22/23 year olds play in an U-21 competition is pointless...because most of them will never earn a full cap for England

It would be a lot more ridiculous if players that are eligible at the beginning of a qualification campaign suddenly become ineligible half way through. And if the fact that "most of them will never earn a full cap for England" makes a difference then we might as well scrap youth football all together.

Why scrap youth football, just change the eligibility age.

For example, the Under-21 finals tournament is held between 17th and 30th June, 2015...as a result, make the rule that you have to be born on or after 1 July 1993 to be eligible.

That way, throughout the whole tournament, every player is under the age of 21

Fair point but still ridiculous that half of the players are 22 and 23. U21 - it's in the name.

They should organise a shorter qualification system or limit the number of overage players. Or at least rename the whole thing because it's pointless to call it U21. Make it A21 - around 21 :D

Then there's too much overlap with younger age-groups, plus we'd be losing development opportunities for the slightly older players. I don't see why we'd want to create a problems in order to solve a non-existent one. It really doesn't matter that 22 and 23 year olds are playing in a tournament called an U21 tournament. It's a non-issue.

Arsenal despite their recent good form are not anywhere the level they displayed last season with an in-form Ramsey.

The only game I thought they were really convincing was Man City. Liverpool is the better team imo. Still, the defeat at anfield, sturridge's injury and the sterling issue are very negative points for them going into this game.
