magic weeds 446
In as much as I would like to see FT lead our attack, I see why Chelsea would go for Cavani. We need depth. Citeh have Balotelli, Dzeko, Tevez and Aguero. We only have Torres and Studge (assuming Lukaku goes on loan as expected). So Its a good move to go for another striker. Just dont know if Cavani is the real deal.
Wise 45
Should use Torres in the deal, Torres plus 10 million. No point having Cavani and Torres. Torres should be our main man or he leaves.
Endrit 39
What is there not to like about Cavani? Hard worker, good finisher and pretty decent in the air. The only problem could be the price tag cuz we all know that the napoli president is crazy.

Would be exciting!
The Skipper 20,609
City have Dzeko, Balotelli, Tevez and Aguero yes, but they always have two of them playing at one time. This allows them to have that many strikers. We on the other hand only play one. We can't have 3 strikers sitting on the bench, that's ludicrous. Pizy 18,994
I'd cream enough to cover my iPad screen if we got Cavani. Even more so if these numbers reported are in € and not £. Wise and daBlackMamba7
Wise 45
Cavani is a beast. He would add the power and focal point our attack is lacking. 35 mill Euros/27 million Pounds is value. Cavani and Moses for 35 million is good business.

Kojo 4,676
I don't like paying that much. But no longer am i going to knock this Cavani transfer, because we've got a cabbage who is meant to be our star striker, and I'm going to sit here and go on about how we don't need Cavani?.Whatever happens... i just hope it benefits us. DYC. 7,542
Wonderful striker but he's not the type of striker we need for the type of football we want to play. It's like when we signed Torres (counter-attacking striker) to replace Drogba (targetman). It's possible for him to adapt but the club better be very sure he will be able to adapt for this kind of money, if he actually does sign that is. Wise 45
Napoli wanted Meireles, could use him in part of the deal. xPetrCechx
DDA 9,985
I hope to God this is true.. Torres just isn't man enough to carry the weight of our expectations on his shoulders. Wise and xPetrCechx

If Torres was playing for Napoli he'd score a hatful of goals as well.
YouNameIt 1,511
30m + Meireles and it should be a wrap. Also, keep Torres if Hulk/moses isnt bought because then we'll prolly use danny on the wing alot.
Ollie 4,400
He was awful in the Olympics but i suppose that's just a sign of not wanting to be there. Just because Cavani is good in counter attacking situations doesn't mean that's all he can do. He's only really played for Napoli. He hasn't been tried in different formulas has he? He's a goal scorer and he will always score at a reasonable rate imo. We need him. As much as i want to see Torres succeed, we can't rely on him at all. There has been nothing, since he came here that suggests he will score 20 goals a season. Pizy
Waterfall 893
We should go after Damiao instead to continue with the Brazilian Invasion theme. Ramox
