Yes but neymar does not believe he has the ability to bench anelka or malouda, for 30 million i want a much better player than anelka right now. Rooney was bought for around 30 million at neymar's age and he was a brilliant player and he bedded in at united straight away. Arjen robben also had no fear, he came to chelsea at 20 and he instantly made a huge impact down the left wing. Neymar should be fearless like rooney ronaldo robben !

First of all, I knew Neymar long before that USA match.

That's not a reasonable argument. We paid 24m for Wright-Phillips and he was pure shit - plus he'd even played in England. Neymar hasn't. Why are you so sure he's not like all the other flopping "next Peles" and "next Maradonas"?

So we pay the club's record fee for a 18-year old striker who's nowhere near the Prem concerning physique. Plus he has to adapt to the English league, which will take at least 2 or 3 years. You really think Neymar wants to stay here for more than 1 year before being a first team player?

There comes a point where we have to take a risk on one of these young brazilians, we missed out on Pato when we were interested in him and now we couldn't sign him even if we wanted to!! There is never a gurantee with ANY player that they will move to England and be a success, so many players it has been said they would struggle in the Prem, Torres for one. Are we saying that we should never sign any of the highly rated brazilian youngsters because they may not live up to potential? Of course not, if Milan or Madrid took that attitude they would have ended up with World Class players.
