Major overreaction here. People want him sold just because of a few bad games this season but yet many forget the positives to his game. A good 90 minute performance will remind everyone why he's in the team. Till then try to keep calm.

Why don't you remind us why he should be in the team alongside Matic then?

That is a sure thing especially since he is Chelsea player. Pretty sure Fellaini's elbow to the face or Toure kicking Wolfswinkel are just minor offences compared to Ramires' horrific attack on Larsson.

lol. hopefully his performances on the pitch will do the talking. lets just be a little patient.

I was honestly asking. When Mikel was in the pivot then Ramires seemed necessary for his athleticism, to basically do the running Mikel couldn't. Matic seems a lot more mobile so what exactly does Ramires offer?

Personally I'd get shot of him and go with a combo of Lamps, Van Ginkel, Chalobah and maybe even Loftus-Cheek.

Ramires is approaching 200 appearances for this club and when we've needed him most he's got himself a three-match ban in the Villa match, a ban in the CL and another deserved 3 match ban yesterday.

Can you name another player in our squad over the age of 25 that you wouldn't trust with the captain's armband?

As well as all the red-card suspensions he receives, he also gets far too many through accumulation of yellow cards, both in the CL and PL.... It's not like most of his yellow cards are ones that he 'takes for the team' - they're just borne out of stupidity and you'd think that would be more than enough evidence for the management to realise that Ramires is a liability!

He has been slowly driving me insane all season. Im not one for sell them post's, but if we sign a new midfielder and Lamps signs a new contract (he still has a lot to offer with his game time managed correctly) then would there be any room for him? Matic, new mid (Vidal would be ideal) along with Lamps, Van Ginkel, Chalobah playing back up, with Luiz as extra cover.

He is still good in certain situations, but if we get a good offer, then it's seriously worth considering.

He should not start another Chelsea game! I used to be his biggest fan - but we have now outgrown him - time for him to move on...

Out in the summer: (must) - save the wages and take £50 million for the lot...

Ramires will be here unless we sack Mourinho or get Vidal and even than, the new potential manager will have a place in the squad for him.

One thing a lot of you forget is that Ramires is one of Mourinho's favorites. At Madrid, he had a similar player playing a similar role. All the Madrid fans wanted him to be benched, however, Jose always played him.

Dirty player. I used to like him a lot but his behaviour recently is unexpected. I don't want filthy players to play for my team. I hope this matter will be resolved in the summer.
