Rambo 1,729
Kalou had a decent season and if Carlo uses him correctly he can get the job done. But back on topic, why the fuck did we do this? Only explanation is if Stoch requested a transfer or if we're really that retarded.
True_Blue 469
Our Youth failed to impress yet again, but i don't see in which part Stoch failed? Had a brilliant season scored loads of goals and he was one of Twente's best players.Fuck this i will never get my hopes high again that Chelsea would actually consider playing a youngster.Bring in my grandfather he can fit in ffs. Randall 315
Ri-fucking-diculous. Shocking decision. What do we need in our team? A pacey trickey wing man who can score goals and who isn't very old. We get one that we've brought through and then we fucking sell him to Fenerbache. Gooood one. Kakuta to Al Alhy next probably.
Badboy 1,526
Really don't understand this move by the club. I though Stoch was one of our biggest assets. Obviously the club think otherwise. He was the most developed young player young player we had not the most talent but fuck me he had brilliant talent pace crossing movement, if we buy benayoun in the next few days ! Kostas 1,468
*If* the 7m fee that is reported is true then I can see the reason behind the move.Stoch got guaranteed 1st team football and the club earned a nice sum for a player that might just be not good enough for Chelsea. But I still think he should have gotten his chance,he earned it more than any of our other youth players
We Hate Scouse 10,330
Disappointed about this. At the end of the day though we can't keep a player that doesn't want to stay, £7 million isn't bad either.
Kez 2,727
Disapointing news, i was looking forward to seeing him play in a Chelsea shirt after his season last year. Like others I thought with Joey leaving it would give him a chance to show the fans what he can do. Lets hope Kakuta gets his chance next season. NoFear 23
The only logical explanation would be that he would have demanded 1st team football which Chelsea could have not garunteed. There were voices of concern since last january that a move was on the cards since he was not committing to a new contract. So instead of keeping him and losing him for nothing I guess we decided to cash in.. Bad move for the club as a whole but can see where the club is coming from as well... NoFear 23
I hope we did include a sell-on clause or something because i can definitely see him moving to a better league soon !!!
LDN Blue 7,903
Let's hopelessly hope we added a buy-back clause on that contract..
zolayes 14,489
we send them out on loan ...then either go backwards like Sinclair and Di Santo ..or do well like Stoch ,,Cork and Bertrand then dont want to come back..
BomTrett 50
No because YOU want a player that can't control a football to play in the first 11.And if he has a good season next year he'll be your favourite player. He didnt even have a bad year last season, so i think he's capable of controlling a football.Everyone doubted Malouda year before last and he had a great season this year so y'know. All i'm saying is that Kalou isnt a bad player and i certainly wouldnt rule him out to start

boshman 1,073
What a fucking joke. One of the most promising youngsters to come through our youth system and we sell him on. Well done Chelsea. Fucking amazing decision.

ZanSnake 1,211
This is paving the way for Milner...Yes let's pay £30 million for a player when we could have had a player with exceptional potenial and brilliant talent. Kalou isn't a first team starter, and the only way he can score is by finishing them, ie tap ins. Kalou's pace is the only reason he can score and when he does it is mostly done when the opposition is getting tired.I am really pissed off by the club, they could have at least gave him a chance before off loading him. How can we expect what he would be in the English game without giving him the opportunity? And also, we only have to players who can play on the right wing, Anelka and Kalou, both of whom are also strikers, we need a skillful natural right winger and that was Stoch. And by the way, the only reason Kalou scored that hat trick was when he was playing as a STRIKER, the position we are talking about is the right wing so bringing that up is in no irrelevance. And i am more worried about what Carlo's plans are for that right side, Bosingwa? I certainly hope we can get a right midfielder that isn't going to cost the club loads when we can gain someone with half the price and mold him, something which it seems we are afraid to do. Henrique 9,133
We will buy Schweisteinger...Sotch wasnt good enough to play here and wasnt ready yet. People who say that he is better than Kalou, are crazy. We all know that Kalou is an avarage player, but we know what he can do...Stoch was a promisse, he could become better than the african, be he isnt yet, very simple. Steve 10,227
I don't even know what to say about this. I am very shocked. One of our biggest youth prospects has now been sold. I can't figure out why the club would want to make this call. Maybe we have a buy back clause for a certain amount in which we get first preference. Confused...
