Luka Modric

Not this shit again.

I personally haven't rated Modric, since Redknapp brought VDV and accommodate him in their formation. He also goes missing big games, can't remember anything notable he has done against top sides, not worth the fuss spuds make.

I don't rate Modric and don't see why we should be interested in him...

we still have Mikel and Romeu

ideally we would sell Mikel for a good price and promote Romeu but it seems very uncertain if he'll be here next season.

anyway there are much cheaper options that would probably deliver just as much as Modric and could suit us better.....how much they reckon he's worth on the transfer market, £30, £40M? :D

Neither Mikel or Romeu are creative, they are defensive midfielders.

I'm saying them two can do a good enough job in that role, would we not employ Modric as a DM or where would he play exactly?

just not buying the idea of him being a player who would be the difference between winning or losing big games for us

Honestly mate, even we combine the two into one we still wouldnt get even half of what is Modric, from that combination.

Im guessing Modric would be taking over from Lampard. So a central midfield.

He would be playing as the CM, the deep lying creative midfielder who can dictate the tempo and spread the play from one side to the other in that central area.
