robsblubot 3,595
Manager grinder. Manager makes no difference whatsoever. Reddish-Blue 2,510
Another pathetic performance at home....I really do wonder how much longer Poch can stay as manager Other than Palmer who has actually improved under him?

Poch has been outwitted most match days, in-game adjustments have been poor, was making some weird long-term decisions - Colwill at LB, carrying on playing T Silva, bad defensive setups in most games - like yesterday when Neto had a free run down the right. I have long said there’s no point changing the manager again but this appointment, like Potter, has been the wrong one. I’d wait till the cup final and then make plans for a new manager in the summer unless Poch improves drastically

Going to be pointless making a switch to someone like Flick. Read a report about how Ruben Amorim and de Zerbi are candidates + Jose, Flick, Zidane, Lopetegui, Low are available. None of them scream immediate appointment candidates to me. I just hope the club doesn’t call Lampard about the interim job. That would be the worst of the options

The alternatives aren’t better. Even the good players like gusto still make stupid mistakes due to inexperience. Badiashile had a horror game the other day... individual mistake too not due to system. I happen to think colwill is by far the best LB option we’ve got (sad I know). Chilwell works better in a 3cb as his defending is akin to Alonso’s time. prediction: if we change managers, we will get a couple of good results and then go back to this. He wanted a 3 year deal - which I believe would have been on reduced terms to meet the new direction of the club - but we wouldn’t offer it so he was quite right to take another offer. The club pretty much gave up after one offer as 3 years was some sort of issue for them. Yet they have given utter shite unproven players 7 & 8 year deals. There is no consistency. Yes people will say his injuries but he has played virtually every minute in Saudi and we have had more injuries than fuck knows what since Boehly appointed whoever as medical staff. Also, let’s not pretend people (particularly people on here one who has been banging on about selling Kante for about 5 years 🤣) wanted him to leave also. Some of us seen this coming. Losing Jorginho, Kovacic and Kante in the space of 2 windows and replacing them with 2 guys with like 200 games at a decent level between them and a few kids who may be good was suicide. But all three of them “weren’t good enough for Chelsea” which is odd because even at their worst they were all much better than what we are seeing now from the 2 we got for quarter of a billion pounds. robsblubot, Strike, Blue Armour and 2 others 3 1
DH1988 1,348
Being leaked that players are overweight and such, no manager comes in and gets someone into shape within weeks so it's another item to add to the list as to why this season, again, is a write off. How can a club really allow this, it's incredible the standards are so low. Costa19

I thought one of the arguments for Poch was that he had the players training like maniacs with very high level of fitness. What a fucking circus this is. What a fucking circus this is. That wouldn't have happened with someone like Conte in charge. Poch was selected because he was a YES man to the ownership group, same as Potter. I doubt either would have been selected as Chelsea managers during the Roman rein. Costa19

JFKvsNixon 55
Hansi Flick would be. good choice, his record with Bayern was outstanding. If Klopp gets his wish to become German Manager, then I'd also be happy be happy with Nagelsmann

lucio 5,418
The managerial Hail Mary , it won’t work, he’s finished. Maybe if we had kept maatsen , chilwell is washed , football will be worse than ever
Ledg 643
I want him out but I think he will survive until the summer, because I don't think the club wants to deal with another interim situation for a second season in a row. And at the moment no one is available, except Jose, but him, you offer him a long-term deal which I don't think is the brighest idea.
