Thor 2,722
I think Poch is perfect given what we need as a club. A structure, tactics, style of play, and someone the players will listen to. Not only that - he makes younger players better and despite what anyone here will tell you - he wins games. People act as if he doesn't make us a winner, but for the last 5 or 6 years we have been a cup team - who were unlikely winners of the CL. Not saying we didn't deserve it, but no one would have picked us - kinda like how Poch got Tottenham there in 2019. No one would have picked it. He is a lot better than everyone here lets on. He had a worse side at Tottenham, and he averaged the same amount of points in the league as we did during his time with them over his time there. Reality is - every potential pick is a risk at this point. That is due to the fact there has been so much change. Poch knows football, he knows how to manage big personalities, and he knows how to win games. That can't be denied. Get him in, stick with him, and let him make something even if we go through more pain. Tuchel looked horrid, Potter looked horrid, Lamps looks super horrid. If Poch looks horrid for a while, clearly it is the make up of the team - as we can't just keep chopping and changing with no continuity. Lukaku is the best 1
Would be great news. Did a wonderfull job last season ( well in fact this season ) with the promotion. Could bring a wonderfull time to our club. Interesting fact, he started his career at Anderlecht together with one ... Romelu Lukaku. They were ( and are ) very close. Kompany will certainly be able to use the qualities of Romelu to the fullest. At young age they both had already incredible skills. Hopefully we get Poch because it will all but confirm that he wont play Rom as he isn’t suited to a high pressing team. bigbluewillie

Lukaku is the best 1
I know him since he was 16 as a player from Anderlecht. I followed his achievements through his career and I really like him as player I know he has not the best technique and sometimes ( rare but it happens ) he looses the ball during a control but he never gives up. I find it very sad for him that he got laughed at so many times. He did wonderful things in his career with many clubs ( Anderlecht, Everton, Inter , Manchester was a little less ) and I'm sure he can succeed with Chelsea also but he is an emotion player. When he got sheared, applauded and people shout his name, he gets confident and then he is an unstoppable force. But the downside is that when people only see and talk when he misses a chance, he looses confidence and with that he becomes less UP. Kompany can give him the confidence he earns and put the killing machine back on track. He can easily become top of the league goalgetter ( Haaland may be a problem but he is the only one ). Mhsc 1,098
Poch on a 3 year contract would be my pick at this point. Everything else seems like a big bet / punt. Poch will be good for us I think. Fernando and Vesper
