Yes and its not a surprise, that the 2 clubs that dominated English football the last couple of years are teams that have their manager in place for a lot longer than that.

Yeah, the average number doesn't really tell much usually, but thought it's interesting context anyway

The only manager I would go for to replace Potter is Nagelsmann. Anyone else would just be a 2 year caretaker.

Why? If the board is willing to back potter surely they could give an actual competent manager more than 2 years

They have 2 of the top 5 managers, it makes sense for them. It dont make sense to support some tier 3 manager

Says the guy who was celebrating like crazy when they drawed against Crystal Palace at home and overtook Wolverhampton in the 38th round in the Premier League which qualified them to Europa League.

We won cl 2 years ago and now we can only dream about el quali after 600mio investment. He isn't top 5 manager anymore but he still improves Roma

i just want Potter gone, clearly clueless and out of his depth. Worst appointment ever, yes it’s that bad.

Looking like it. Needs to be held accountable and I think the owners - for all their course correction in the recruitment - got this appointment wrong.

Tuchel figured out on the flight to London that he needs to play a 3-4-3 with this group. He was not able to evolve us tactically or get the attackers to play well but at least we were competitive in games.

You really think ancelotti and Conte got sacked because the players "stopped trying"? Sarris last game was the Europa League final , did they win that by "not trying"?

Sarri was different from the other two. He chose to leave and return to Italy.

The players do down tools at Chelsea and its a known thing. So many ex players have spoken about it in interviews. This Athletic interview of Mikel is literally headlined - 'Player power is in every club, mafias. You do what you have to do to get the manager changed'

I don’t believe anyone should dig Jose out, Roman and Jose put Chelsea on the world map, and we wouldn’t be signing decent players if it wasn’t for them

Bc most managers competence comes from having short term success before falling down the cliff. Most managers dont know how to build sth, they just squeeze everything out of the players before they get fed up. Conte, Mou, Tuchel, all of these.

I don't rate Zidane, not one bit. Think he's a massive footballing icon who's stature in the game propelled and already supremely gifted Madrid team to the titles they got. That being said if it's Zidane or fat boy ill HAPPILY welcome Zidane here. Podge is not what we need. He never will be.

We will not win anything with Pinky and the Brain (or tweedle dee and tweedle dum, take your pick) at the helm of the hardest job which is to reinvigorate CFC after a slump with signings. Mou always failed in his 3rd year, Conte in his 2nd and Sarri immediately. The difference is Sarri was content just bringing Jorginho in to implement his style.

Zidane doesn't speak English, and has said so many times he has zero desire to ever learn it and even less desire to live in England and manage a football team here.

He is not a viable option, regardless of what you think of him as a manager.
