Pros of each candidate so far:

Poch-Knows the league, has a good record of developing young talent.safest  pick of the candidates due to only one whose spent any time coaching in England.aside from front 3 our squad has more talent than he’s coached before.despite the press saying we are a club with big ego’s etc.. in our squad.we don’t,we haven’t since the likes of Costa,Courtois and before them even more so with Drogba,Ballack,Lampard,JT etc..he’s coached players with even bigger ego’s than the latter.he’s only won trophies with PSG and although not the one they really want, but same is true with Pep at Man City.he coached Tottenham with tightarse Levy to massively overachieve.

Enrique-managed with success at a big club, system suits our current squad ( if our front 3 can score more) despite being at Barcelona his system is quite different to Pep’s.history of over tinkering in past but hopefully learnt from having more success when he didnt. I don’t really consider what his record as international coach was…nobody would put Southgate as a top 5 coach in the world despite his top 3 record at international level.

Nagelsmann: tactically astute, has coached at a big club, atleast when media calls our head coach young they would be accurate rather than keep hearing it about a 47year old. Inexperience only a concern to me in regard to of English football, but same applies to all candidates but Poch.

i don’t see waiting till the summer as a way of getting much more options really..is only Carlo who might be available that is good enough to add to the mix.

Pretty sure Messi himself has been quoted as saying that Luis Enrique is one of the best coaches he’s ever worked with. Or maybe it was one of the other Barca superstars that said it. So he definitely does have the respect of his players.

Would love to have Frank back at the club but not as manager. I don’t think he would be a massive failure cos the players respect him and would put him a shift but he has demonstrated he is not yet able to consistently implement a tactical concept. But he embodies everything Chelsea stands for in a positive way and belongs here. Can totally see him providing valuable insights in a director role.

Nagelsmann ironically is not too dissimilar to both Potter and Frank. I doubt Nag would have won a trophy with a club different than Bayern yet cos he always was a nearly man himself. His tactical flexibility and problem with handling egos are prime potter magic as explained before . Think he will be a terrific coach in 10 years and have a reputation like Klopp but at this moment I can not see him being the man to bring us forward. Too many question marks there also in his private life. Just built a new house , new gf, advisory roles here and there. I think the man will and should take a few months  off.

Enrique I only know from his time at Barca and Spain. Tactically he is probably the most astute of all the candidates and very experienced. I admired his Barca side, it was super fun but it had the best front 3 in modern football history
His Spain team could be both brilliant and frustrating

he always needs top players with great technique. Good thing we have a squad full. My fear is he can not solve our finishing woes. Even at Barca he relied heavily on wc attackers bailing him out cos his team was often shut out by deep buses.

I am sure all of Enrique, Nagelsmann, Poch will be our managers at some point in the next 10 years. So yeah, better to leave Nagelsmann for the future when he is older and more accomplished.

And please, don't mention Lampard even as a joke. Would rather bring back Potter.

Enrique is my number one target since Tuchel second season after I got tired of his pragmatic approach. And suggested to wait for WC to finish to hire him. We went for Potter so definitely didn't expect him to be here so soon but possibility arrived. We must take it. My only fear is since he plays 433 exclusively we would have to watch Mount again.

If he can (somehow) make Mount better, why not?
