Very difficult to be Chelsea-supporter right now.. Cruel sackings were a thing under Abramovich too, but what's been going on is absolutely out of control.. Blueco clowns sacked 3 managers in a row(Tuchel, Poch, Maresca) due to PERSONAL disaggreements, not even because of bad results and we got to a point where we have to fucking "convince" Iraola and Marco Silva level guys to take over.. Embarrassing, disappointing. Not excited or even interesred about who the new manager will be. Why should we? If Palmer, Enzo etc. decide they "don't respect" them it will be the same crap again.

The fact he is represented by agent Jorge Mendes, who has a close relationship with Chelsea's ownership, would also ease any move for Silva.

Only because it means that these idiots can take their time and make a more informed decision in the summer when they can approach (beg and plead to) someone like Fabregas.

I'll still keep holding out for Fabregas until then. Only appointment out there from a sea of dross that passes the vibe check at the very least.

Eddie Howe has done a hugely respectable job for the most part at Newcastle and before that at his other jobs. But there’s a reason Newcastle aren’t jumping at the chance to renew his contract and why there’s rumors about them going and trying to get a big name to replace him. Newcastle have been as poor as we’ve been this season.

Like the other PL managers we’re linked to I think he’d do a solid job in theory. But we need someone who has the ability to take us back to the very top which I don’t see him as.

Look who we just had as manager. These two are well above him. The sad thing is how far the standards have dropped.

AVB was the only meh choice (full term manager) under Roman who joined after a successful spell, the rest had some pedigree. Whoever is making the decisions right now haven't got the slightest clue. As people worried about before they even took over - they have NO CLUE about "soccer".
