Pochettino's been out of a job since the end of 2021/22 season so yeah he would have been available in September 2022.

From what I remember I'm pretty sure he was even interviewed for the job after Tuchel got sacked but the club hired Potter instead.

That's true.

I remember being on my knees, praying for the naming of Potter. How the tables have turned...

We might want to get Poch wrapped up ASAP before Spurs approach him and leave him with a decision to make.

We’re a cup team, at this stage we aren’t going to attract the elite standard of management but who is elite these days that’s available - It’s modern day management.

As a baseline I would only hope to see the same level of fitness in our team next season that Poch’s Spurs had in his early days there where the average squad age was 24/25.

This is reportedly because they played a 'weakened' side having been promoted.

This charge is beyond ridiculous. Every club has a squad of players that they must register for the season, it's a disgrace that the FA/Premier League/Football League have the arrogance to question the quality of a side being put out.

On the same argument we should have been charged for playing a 'weakened' team all those years back against Liverpool, despite beating them at Anfield and stopping them winning the league.

Nothing will come off that and rightly so. Kompany didn't do anything wrong. Ridiculous that this is even being looked into. They are registered squad players so no case to answer.

This gives me great hope. As someone who watches only us and am never going to pretend to be a knowledge on foreign teams,it appears to me from the outside that bayern have a very capable team who for one reason or another aren't playing well. Well if they can have a nightmare with that fairly developed, seasoned team then there's no reason this fairly new, young team can't. Fingers crossed next season with the right man and no European distractions below the CL we can progress

Even with his links to them he still wouldn't choose them over us. Be mad to
