So only the gossip papers mentioning we contacted Kompany?

My opinion he stays another year or 2 at Burnley then take over from Guardiola..

It makes sense for us tho. After mid table manager Potter and relegation fodder Lampard it's time to get Championship manager naturally?

Let me guess, Enrique is not good candidate because he is temperamental person and has his own opinion? Man we are screwed with these guys...

Sorry if this has been asked or discussed before, but I can't be bothered to read all unread replies... So can somebody explain to me why we need to pay compensation if Nagelsmann was fired and is currently unemployed?

They must pay his contract until he takes another job. I think they tried to come to a compensation package for him and he refused to negotiate.

I think he was left on gardening leave for a set period, to which we would need to pay off the remaining amount should we employ him.

Yeah, just as above, I guess he isn't unemployed and wasn't actually fired, but relieved from his duty with the team, yet still on Bayern's payroll. Not that it makes their negotiation position super strong, but still.

According to Forbes - Bayern offloaded Nagelsmann because a) it was heading for a trophyless season b) Fell out with Neuer and had a public slanging match with him c) Lost the dressing room with his 30 year old girlfriend writing about the team for Bild and his 'young' lifestyle with fake implant eyebrows 🤨

Enrique ist just too stubborn and inflexible. He always plays his little 4-3-3 and if the players dont fit his system, he is clueless. He is a one trick pony.

He plays with other formation, like 3 in the back. He does have a certain style, and won’t compromise on players that don’t suit his system. I don’t see anything wrong with that. It has worked out quite well for the team that is dominating English football over the past few years.

Boehly and his team are adamant about what they are doing is going to be succesful, but given how this season has panned out maybe they should reconsider and put a manager in charge who lead the direction.

Considering Tuchels performance atm they might consider to reinstall Nagelsmann again 🤣

I wouldn't mind Poch, to be honest. Used to hate the idea and I remember being terrified that it could happen, just after Tuchel was sacked. But he is passionate, can work with youth and what happened to Spurs after he left shows that he was basically underrated.

I am not sure if he can win stuff with us, but at this point I have no hope of winning trophies for the next two years at least. Top 4 would be great and maybe some sort of good run in the domestic cups. We need someone to build. Maybe Poch can lay a foundation for someone else that could take over an already solidified team that will just need to be taken to the next level.
