Well, Fofana, Koulibaly, Sterling, Havertz and Chilly played with a back 4 at their previous clubs when we bought them. In general, a back 4 shouldnt be a problem, but it just is.

Honestly, despite the win, I think the follow up matches are when Potter is going to be under real scrutiny from management.

By the law of averages, a win was always coming (whether it was through a formation change, or awful opposition, or both as in today's match).

The question is now whether he and the team can use this win as a springboard and kick on. Or whether they will revert to type., and start a new new winless streak.

I watched PSG against Nantes (4-2).
Nantes is different quality to Leeds-Spurs-the rest perhaps but they are mid table in La Ligue.
PSG have a fantastic knack with this sort of football - entering the box with one touch football from the semicircle.
Mbappe in the wings does n't generally take part in these movements but it's the genius of the short one of course that helps.

Fofana was never in doubt for me. Upamecano and Konate are nowhere near his level.

Nice process, we played again with the same line-up as before the process/Potter against a relegation team. But at lest we won a game. Still no wins with back four. And still the same donkey as a manager.

But let's enjoy probably the last CL game for the next years.
