The only realistic objective that we have for the rest of the season is to not get relegated. As crazy as that sounds, I honestly feel a bit scared. We are not favourites to win against anyone in the league at this point. If you think otherwise, remember the game against Southampton. Also, based on the reports coming out in the media, it seems that some of the players are 100% to leave in the summer. The likes of Ziyech, Azpi, Chalobah, Aubameyang, Pulisic will probably be on their way. So why play them?

I mean, I'm ok with Azpi as I am sure that he would do anything for this club. Maybe Trev is ok to be played too. But the others shouldn't be even near to the starting 11. This is where I cannot understand what Potter's trying to do. Show some balls and be consistent with your decision making, this is your responsibility! Axe all of those who won't be here come August. 

On the other hand, I have this weird feeling that he will get sacked and then the info will come out in the media: the board forced him to play specific players so their market value doesn't decrease. That wouldn't surprise me at all and it would be a very very worrying sign for us as a club.

So by Law he is gone if we don't eliminate Dortmund. 

I really hope we do. Ofc don't expect us to go all the way but it would be nice distraction for the rest of the season. Second leg against Dortmund is March 7th. QF second leg is 18/19 April. So we would at least have something to think about, be excited and hope for 6 more weeks. Even in first leg it was clear we are way better side and who knows in QF we could potentially get another very average side like Milan, Inter, Benfica. Players will at least show up for CL.

Don't think it's true about players but I believe club told Potter to play 4231 or some sort of offensive setup. Potter in Brighton played 3atb like Tuchel but dropped it here. And I actually support this.

Well, I could ask for compensation from a company if I was sacked and it was n't my fault but the result of some external problems but if it was because of me failing to do the job they would n't pay me my tickets home.

That's something I cannot understand since I heard "buh ArRtReTa!" stuff. We were way above Arsenal level to begin with, had totally different set of issues, Artreta has completely different background than Potter and it's not like Mikel made Arsenal some kind of stable, solid serial winners. As things stand, it took them 5 years to win shit. Nothing, zero, nada.

So wtf kind of reference point is Artreta? Boehly and Potter want to ruin the elite team and suffer for years just to have a 3/4 of season when we do halfway decent? Sometimes it's hard not to think they are seriously mistaking Chelsea for Brighton.

Boehly said multiple times that player's contracts are in large part dependent on performance and achievements. Wonder if Potters is alike, or he just slapped 50 million on him just for having a privilage of this manager coming to Chelsea. If so, I'd take the cash and run if I was GP, zero regrets.

That is what I am hoping that keeps him on the job. Some clause that if he doesn't meet certain objectives by the end of the season , it will be easier and cheaper to terminate his contract. 

I  mentioned relegation battle in December. He looked to me so clueless and uninspiring  back then, and still does. What the hell they saw in him?  I was afraid after I saw that Brighton fans wanted him fired after long winless streaks .

Firing Tuchel for this wannabe top coach is the major fuck up by Boehly. Not having proper replacement is such a karma. Hope he will do it before it's too late, clause or no clause.

We are left to cheer for every point. Every point is win.

If he doesn’t win at Leeds then Boehly has no excuse to not sack him. If he’s still here after that and we don’t win then my bet is Boehly has no real intentions of us competing against the top teams in the next 2-3 seasons as long as we ‘get it right long term’ which is ridiculous after spending £600m in not even a full season. 

I mean after sacking Tuchel 7/8 games into the season after the strenuous and uncertainty that was around the club that previous season, the 443 nonsense, the all star league game, the constant links to every player who existed, these things were testing a lot of peoples patience but now he's really just taking the piss backing this manager who is hilariously out of his depth.

Can give him all the young players in the world or all the infrastructure but I really don’t think we’ve been this bad as a side for years. And that includes the Hiddink second spell season after winning the league. Or the Conte throwing the towel in because he wasn't happy a season after winning the league. There is clearly no spine in any of the coaching staff all the way through the players. And there are still a good number of players here who showed a lot more fight and personality under Tuchel so go figure why that is. Once Potter goes things will get better - almost instantly, I guarantee it. Even Lampard had a much better stab at it here and he was out of his depth.
