Chelsea 2 - 2 Tottenham

Anyone read Mike Dean's comments. Admitted he got the call wrong.

Like I said, there may or may not be an agenda involving Chelsea. But what is for certain is that when ever there is a 50/50 situation, officials will likely pick the situation that doesn't go in our favor, and this is an undeniably fact based on the data.

I can't claim to have seen statistics but it certainly feels like that. Whenever the circumstance allows room for personal interpretation by the officials, the interpretation always seems to go against us.

What did he say?

But it doesn't matter anymore now does it. He got his 1 week vacation for doing what he was paid to do with bribe money. It will happen again in the future and he or someone else will get a "deserved" week or two off as "punishment".

He said he didn't deem it violent conduct at the time. And after moments of review and chats with his colleagues, he admitted he should of told Taylor to check VAR for a possible red card.

Mike Dean doing Mike Dean things.

Why this cunt is still put to Tottenshits games after publicly celebrating their goals can only have one explanation.

Where there is big money there is corruption. The more money is involved the more there is corruption, and the most moolah goes through England. I don't buy it that with all of its resources England can only produce incompetent bastards, absolutely not buying it. I wouldn't be surprised if in a few years there will be a huge scandal over match fixing, hopefully investigative journalists are already on it.

This isn't just a Chelsea related issue. This is a Premier League issue.

Anthony Taylor is looking right at the incident, and allegedly he didn't see it. (No surprise given his awareness is shockingly bad.) You then also have Dean, on VAR, who has multiple opportunities to review the incident and STILL made the incorrect call.

How is the FA/Premier League still giving these two big matches?

Taylor is ranked as the second best ref in the country isn't he?

Far be it for me to defend Taylor, but when you are following the flight of the ball, you may not see what is right in front of you. That is where VAR is supposed to step in.

I see folks focusing on the missing chances, but tbh I did not see anything crazy.

Scoring 2 goals against the good team of Spurs should've been enough esp at home. Defending was piss-poor however.

Should have put it to bed.
Alright there was Taylor and that counts as starting with a handicap 0-1, but we should have put it to bed.
As time was passing I knew it was going to become a Hitchcock affair. Spurs were going to try some counterattacking in the last twenty minutes - only a 3d division side is incapable of doing that under the circumstances. And would there be time to go for the 2-1 ? There was, with James, but then it happened again.
Kai and Mount missed the more important chances for the 2-0 / 3-1. We need a guy like Diego.
