We're going to end up with Lukaku aren't we.

Fuck a duck.

If you remove Mbappe, Håland, Kane, Lukaku, and Isak (new €90m release clause) from the board then

that leaves the only viable and remotely acceptable (and heads will explode on some of most) options left of quality or potential

and BTW I am NOT endorsing moves for all of these but I am going to be thorough (in other words, if they are NOT on this list it is not happening or deffo should not (many ON the list should not happen)

to show you the state of flux atm

EVERY single CF listed on Transfermarkt is/was THEORETCALLY available (and no I do not mean a psycho bid, etc that it would take for a Pedri or de Bruyne or Kimmich or Foden, etc, unless you count Kane as a psycho bid, BUT Kane wants to leave, if he did not, he would be the only untouchable) every single one (I have never seen this before for a position, let alone CF)

(CR7 and Immobile would be SO hard to come here (CR7 due to Manure ties) or simply get to move (Immobile due to he absolutely doesn't want to leave Rome, but Lazio WOULD sell him for a high price) and some have already moved

in bold (the first 3) are the ONLY three left I can endorse (plus 3 youth potentials we should monitor but nor buy this summer)

Robert Lewandowski

Dusan Vlahovic

Dominic Calvert-Lewin

then the many names we have been linked with

Lautaro Martínez (great player but NOT what we need)
Gabriel Jesus
Richarlison
Victor Osimhen
Youssef En-Nesyri    (only one I might say is a decent buy, IF we fail on all above in bold and IF he is fairly priced (max £25-30m)
Gerard Moreno
Mauro Icardi
Moise Kean
Andrea Belotti
Ollie Watkins
Ivan Toney
Patrik Schick
Danny Ings

3 youth:

Jonathan David   (wait a year)

Adam Hlozek   (wait 2 years)

Kaio Jorge   (wait 2 years)

Outside of Lewa, Håland and Kane (and even him I have doubts about owing to his ankles) I'd rather just stick with what we had last season.

Dusan Vlahovic 👍🏽 (IF we do not get Lewa, and obviously fail on the other big 4 names)

its either him or DCL

or stand pat for me, unless we dice roll on Jonathan David at a low price

(again that is IF we fail on the Big 5) and as like I stated, Isak is off the table now as we will NOT pay €90m for him (and he was never really a Big 5 member at all anyway, the ONLY other striker you could, perhaps toss in and make it a Big 6 is Lautaro)

btw, you forget Mbappe on your 'outside of' comment

I also disagree with you on Lukaku

if we fail on the other 4 (which is super likely) he is BY FAR the best remaining CF on the planet (that said, I do NOT see the board buying him, due to the fact we sold him before for far less)

If we’re fine letting Oli go then surely something is happening, right?

Think we can dash any thinking that we’ll just stick with what we have if we let the only other striker Tuchel sort of trusted.

perhaps we actually ARE much closer to signing Håland than we all believe

I think banging down €140-150m (£120-128m) would turn Dortmund's heads and still leave us £122-130m to play with (IF the pre-window quoted £250m in the pot figure for transfers is to be believed)

New Napoli boss Luciano Spalletti admits he 'might' have spoken to Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmieri about a move to Serie A after playing under him at Roma with the Italy star out of favour at Stamford Bridge

Something is happening here, this signals to me the club have their targets and sights set to sign a big player.

Tammy is as good as gone TT doesn't rate him, it's Lukaku or Haaland.

Its not Lukaku imo, he has said several times already he aint moving away from Inter. Best for all parties if its Hårland

I don't think Giroud leaving changes anything yet? Let's not forget our squad is bloated anyway and last season, Tuchel only had Giroud or Abraham on the bench (he had both in CL games but more subs were allowed). Don't think anything will happen yet until we know for sure someone is gonna take Abraham off us and we're getting someone in. Giroud's spot could now be open to the likes of Broja or even Soonsup-Bell to be in the first team.

I know these are all BS rumors but am not sure if the agreeing personal terms is a foregone conclusion, assuming we get to that stage, because we'll basically be breaking the bank to sign him and god knows what demands Raiola will want to put in on the contract.

And transfer window period is the worst...
