Chelsea have opened talks with Strasbourg forward Emanuel Emegha regarding a potential transfer this summer. The Dutch forward Emegha, who has 14 goals in Ligue 1, would be open to the move. (via @footmercato)

Sign a top striker. Jackson's there. Guiu can be 3rd choice

I well and truly forgot he existed.

there are a lot of dead weight kicking around that are still on the books - DD Fofana, Broja, Ugo, Raheem, Chilwell

have to be cut loose in the summer

They had interest in Felix a few months ago, so he'd be a like for like replacement for them. We can throw in Disasi unless his performances have done enough to scare them off. 😄

Disasi's performances for them would have surely scared them off. Cost them plenty of points, made critical mistakes in knockout games.

I’d rather keep Sancho than sign Gittens. Another risk of a winger that we can’t afford to take. Tbh, it feels silly to even be thinking about more attacking midfielders until the keeper and striker issues are solved. CB as well.

Go for neither. Go out to tempt Rogers if we're serious about any attacking mid. I'm happy to sacrifice Madueke for him

Viktor Gyokeres is expected to prioritise Arsenal over Man United this summer. Sources claim he has told Ruben Amorim he'll consider a move if Champions League football is guaranteed. [@JBurtTelegraph]

To be fair to him, he's been playing at FB when making said mistakes. Everyone and their dog should know by now that he can't play in that position at this level.

Looks like Arsenal and not going to cock it up this time and will probably sign the perfect MFer (actually available) for them:

Martín Zubimendi

Really don’t see what he changes for them. Midfield hasn’t been their issue. Great for depth I guess but he doesn’t really change their outlook or make them look any scarier.

On the other hand, Rice is the only sort of elite player in that midfield and having two (perhaps) elite CMs is usually what the really great sides have. Far more reliable that way if you want to stay strong for a whole league campaign.

If they also get an elite CF finally it will be a genuinely generational team for them that they have been waiting for in last 20 years.

and hopefully Muddy gets his shit sorted

Never happening. He is a dud.

Anyway of engineering a move to get Mudryk out of the club would be great but won’t happen barring a miracle. Because the fee, contract, drug ban thing on top of the level of performances he hasn’t given.

Send Sancho back (apparently he’s unsure of a future here anyway) and avoid Gittens also.

From what I’ve seen of Gittens he reminds me exactly of Sancho in the Bundesliga. Dortmund looks his level. I mean Sancho is literally ultimate proof of why we should avoid Gittens - done well in Germany, struggled in England at 2 big clubs.

If these sporting director cunts sign both of them its even more shit to add to the list of why they should be sacked.

GK, CB, CF defo higher priority. And any well run club would prioritise these.

Ideally, yes, but I think the club and Maresca genuinely really like Sancho. Tbf, I won’t be bothered either way. If he stays I’m fine with him as an often used squad player. His production could seriously improve playing with a proper CF for all we know. But if we decide to move on I’m fine with it too so long as we don’t replace him with someone not even as good as he’s been which is spotty.

Or maybe the club does nothing in the market out wide and makes Tyrique George a bigger part.

Please no! such an in/out player, more out than in.

Chelsea have opened talks to sign AC Milan winger Rafael Leao, with the Serie A side prepared to let the 25-year-old Portugal international leave for around £63.5m. (Caught Offside), external

watch them without Partey, and now realise that Partey is now in his 30s and until the past 6, 9 months or so never lived up to his hype

odds are somewhat decent that Partey may soon revert back to norm

and also factor in that Martín Zubimendi is streets ahead of Partey in most aspects of play

Zubi is a poor man's Rodri, to a degree

I rate the hell out of him
