Seems both of our “top” targets will be going elsewhere. Huijsen to Madrid and Delap to United.

Thankfully, the quality of the targets were linked with these days are so unexciting that I’m not even bothered.

Delap going to United couldn't be a worse move for him considering the state of the club.

It's just a shame that something like this doesn't immediately signal our intentions of going back in for Osimhen.

Couldn’t be a better move for us though. Given how United were considered the frontrunners for Oshimen for months.

I really have a feeling Delap won’t score more than 10 PL goals next season. So they can have him. Not what we or they need.

I agree. If he hadn't come from City's academy, there would be little to no hype surrounding him.

I don't share this view. He's already getting 10+ goals without service in an Ipswich team, has the aggression, work ethic needed to play up front. I think he's a good striker.

I'm willing to take the bet that Delap will comfortably score 10+ barring injury problems

Manchester City have contacted AC Milan to express interest in signing Tijjani Reijnders. Talks at early stage + no formal offer yet but #MCFC hope agreement will be reached to buy 26yo ACMilan midfielder this summer.

(David Ornstein)

Wirtz and his parents flew to Manchester for a meeting with Pep Guardiola today and returned to Germany this evening. Hans Wirtz did not comment.

🚨💣ASRoma are strongly evaluating an approach for #Maresca, considered the ideal coach to lead the team next season. 🟡🔴

‼️ Much will depend on his future at #Chelsea - with some doubts within the 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 club, as told yesterday.

Simon Phillips has also recently said he thinks Maresca will leave like Sarri did!!!
His old club Sevilla FC are also interested.

Get rid of this dirty bald fraud.

City going for ready made stars who will instantly step into their team and make a significant impact. Exactly what we should be doing but instead we will continue to target players who are still at the beginning of their development and could take multiple seasons to reach their potential.

It’s why I expect City to be right back there at the top as title contenders next season whilst we will likely be fighting for 4th or 5th with Newcastle and Villa again.

Nothing is going to change unless the people running this club wake up and start buying finished products.

I mean if we were really interested beforehand like the reports say stating long standing interest, why didn’t we sign him directly from City? Like Palmer? Like we tried to do with what do you call him, the fullback, O’Reily?

At United? Where all of their CFs struggled due to poor service? He probably isn’t a better player than what they’ve got and what we’ve got. Different style but don’t think he is going to set the world alight there.

Second season syndrome will hit him too his game isn’t varied enough. He was a surprise first half of this season as Ipswich were in general but his goals and performances have unsurprisingly dried up because teams have sussed him out already.

Emery feels like a wet dream actually. Would take him in a heartbeat.

He wouldn’t leave Villa where he works with his close pal Mochi to come here. Why would you though?

These dipshits have run this club into mediocrity. Maresca probably gets a 5 year contract extension in the summer.

So one says minimum 10 goals other 10 maximum... If he scores 10 who wins the bet? 🤔

I think for a number one striker in a top club around 20 goals should be mark. Jackson had 14 last season and was extremely underwhelming.

So why are some excited over Sesko if he is putting up 13 goals in a piss weak Bundesliga? Jackson has scored more than him... Delap is putting up near identical numbers in a way tougher league and with far less service.

I'm just trying to understand the Sesko love. Below average finisher, not much else to his game...
