I just can’t see any big target of ours like Delap being available when Ipswich need him to have a chance of staying up. I can see a few fringe players leaving but in terms of incoming I’m not expecting anyone. Which may be for the best if we would just buy someone just to have an extra body. I’d rather buy nobody than another Disasi or Badiashile. I would think lack of quality in defense is more of a concern than our attack being a bit off-form. If Maresca continues to play Disasi in that RB/CB type role, we will continue to drop points. No point having young talent like Josh on the bench if he's not going to play, let him get some minutes on loan and develop for next season. Sentimental gestures that don't need to be handed out as things won't change. Reece won't last the rest of the season from this point, something else or another recurring injury will happen again, it's far too common. I would have only signed: - Neto - Jorgensen - Penders - Anselmino - Guiu - Sancho and additional players for the problem positions. Players like - Felix (also here you had to sign Joao because of Gallagher otherwise we wouldn't have gotten the good transfer fee because of the PSR rule) (Maresca doesn't trust Felix) - KDH horror transfer completely gambled away!!! (Maresca doesn't trust him) - Veiga is not a left-back for me and also too limited for our level in the DM. With players like Lavia, Fofana, and James, I'd imagine the premiums to have them covered would be so expensive the cost/benefit ratio wouldn't matter.
