Have seen nothing yet. 2+ months would indicate some form of invasive treatment usually. Woudl absolutely wreck our season cos we would essentially play another system without him and then learn a new one with him mid season

I agree to an extent. It's a good model in theory, but I hope we just don't go down the same path as before by having youngsters on our books till their mid twenties. If someone doesn't show enough within 24 months, we should be looking to get shot regardless of how it will affect us financially.

Let's say (and again, it is what I originally stated that my 4 buys were predicated up) we DO sell Trevoh and CuCu.

As stated stated, Fofana is likely out for the season. (I will add that I think he is perma fucked or damn near it)

So, assuming all that (which I DID posit in my first post) I do not think 4 CBs total is enough.

Badi is out atm.

Thiago is 39 in September and cant play ever game.

So if we played a back 3 (with Thiago playing) right now we have no true CBs at all for subs. Bashir Humphreys is being loaned out.

Given our injury record and Thiago's age, IF we did sell CuCu (who is NOT a viable CB btw, that is plain for all to see) AND Trevoh, I think we should replace ONE of those 2.

Yup. Probably RJ and and Chily will hit the wall some time in autumn as well and we will be left with a squad worse than last season’s. Can’t blame the medical staff for the sunk cost perma cripple fofana or the Ed sheeran Quagmire but as the season goes on our Foo fighter doctors will surely play their part.

I think it is a marketing buy, just like Pulisic was.

If he was a creative hybrid CMF/AMF like Gabri Viega, then sure, no problems (if a low price) but he is not that type if player.

Still the drop off isnt as big as having finished Azpi around. We have our positions covered A LOT better than the last few seasons.

Maybe it is but a 20m + reasonable wages Marketing buy . So if the board really sees any commercial benefit of a player who costs peanuts and does not demand playing time, I am actually all for it. However, if it means no proper quality DM being bought then to hell with tiny Ty.

Adams isn't a marketing buy. Poch apparently wants PL experience to bring off the bench vs 18-19 year olds with hardly any top flight experience.

Look, I do not want to get bogged down over CBs. We have not even sold Trevoh and CuCu, which my entire post was predicated upon.

I MUCH more am concerned over DMF, probably CF plus RW and creative AMF too.

Kudus plays everywhere up front, which is why, again, I posted the reply (if we bought him he frees up a slot as he adresses both AMF and RW and he even can play SS and CF.

We apparently are trying to scupper Brightons deal with him atm.

We need to close out Caicedo asap!

At CF, just sort the Juve swap deal for Rom plus cash.
